Store was clean and fruit looked good. Being in from SC, the fruit and veggies very nice looking! Store well stocked. Prices high anywhere you go so really can't comment on that... I understand from locals hi mom!. When sales are had, they are good but it's all gone.
The store is clean and very well stocked. If you are having a bad day or going thru a rough patch don't go here. I stood at the service desk for almost 10 minutes while the woman was at self check out joking with another employee, looking at me several times without coming to ask what help I needed. When I walked over and stood by self check out and waved her over, I was dismissed with a "better than me chuckle" and attitude. Then told to figure the app out myself. If the intention was to make me feel bad about myself, she did! Very disappointed! Drew in the pharmacy was absolutely amazing!!! 5 stars for him!!
This review is specifically for the wonderful ladies in the floral department. When my wedding plans changed I had one day to get my flowers. I was able to get a beautiful bouquet, boutonnière, petals for the flower girl and a corsage. I couldn’t have asked for more beautiful and affordable flowers. I wish I remembered the names of who helped me out because they did a wonderful job and saved my wedding!
Don't bother ordering online. You'll get the oldest, worst produce available and the substitutions are always completely different. Every trip to pick up has ended with either a return or tossing product.
I like them but their price feel like it is a little bit heavy
Sprawling supermarket, with everything you’d expect in such a store. Good layout despite the size. Wonderful looking produce and baked goods. Interior lighting is more sedate than in other Jewels. This location also offers a Starbucks inside the store, as well as a drive-thru pharmacy. Lots of parking.
Their frozen department must hate chocolate peanut butter ice cream, not a single one in any brands. This is the only grocery store that doesn't seem to ever carry it.
Mike in the meat department and the entire deli staff are the reason I come here. I sincerely hope they never get rid of the butcher shop. The prices are high store wide but the meat prices are fair for what you get.
This is a really clean and modern store with some great deals. Try the seafood salad in the deli.
Very nice and nice people Not completely used to this store, but trying to conform as it is now the closest one to me. Absolutely love the store in Fox Lake, but considering moving my prescriptions to Spring Grove! They have a tough act to follow with both the store plus pharmacy. I definitely have had serious issues in the past with this location. I have been trying to give this location several opportunities to change my mind!! More to come as I continue to give them several chances!!
