Dr. Bucsek has been a literal god send!! I’m so thankful to have found such a wonderful doctor who takes her time, answers every question, and just has the most kind soul. She has reassured me every appointment, and took my symptoms seriously. I would follow her wherever she goes.
Back when I had my daughter in 2015. After the birth that was fine but the hospital staff was awful, rude and disrespectful .. never going back. . Get your priority straight. Treat your patients with respect I was experiencing with postpartum preeclampsia had very high blood pressure and not nurse or doctor give me any medicine for it and sent me home with my blood pressure being extremely high.. not safe hospital
My wife had our son here, August- 2021. All of the staff, their operation's, their generosity and advice was simply exceptional. Absolutely the best environment for a mother and her newly born child to get care and treatment.
Staff was amazing! Answered a lot of my questions! Even got us in when our original OBGYN wouldn’t! Changed our OBGYN to here after this experience!!!
I just gave birth to my baby girl November 17th & have been going to Magees for my whole pregnancy! I’m extremely happy with my experience! The doctors during my prenatal appointments were extremely helpful & professional. I unexpectedly went to an appointment & they ended up moving me to triage due to high blood pressure. It made me extremely nervous, but the staff was very good with me. They ended up keeping me to induce me. When they moved me to my birth room, my nurse for the night Kate made me feel right at home. She constantly checked on me & made sure I was okay! Even when they switched shifts the other nurse was extremely nice & helpful! I’m so grateful with my birthing experience because I usually hear horror stories but mine was something I’ll remember for the rest of my life. Although my baby has to stay in the nicu due to low blood sugars, I know she’s well taken care of! The nicu nurses as well as all of the nurses are GREAT with the babies! Although I can’t be by her side right now, it makes me feel a lot better that she’s in good hands! I know they’re doing everything they can to get her in great health! It also makes me feel a lot better that they have a camera on her so when I’m at home I can see what she’s doing at all times! A big thank you for ALL of the staff at Magees for not only making the birth of my daughter the best day of my life, but also taking care of me during my entire pregnancy! The only cons I can think of is the hospital food isn’t the greatest & sometimes there is no available parking. Other then that my experience was AMAZING. I can’t thank the staff enough for making my pregnancy amazing!
These doctors and staff are absolutely amazing! They know me by name, I’m not just a number to them like my last OBGYN. They were so wonderful through my decision of a c section because my son was weighing larger than normal. My doctor hugged me and took his time while I cried. The nursing staff was awesome through the whole process! I couldn’t ask for a better experience!
A week ago at this time my life was full of anxiety, nervousness and uncertainty.... At the same time there was a lot of trust, faith and confidence in my outstanding medical team led by Dr Mona Janfaza and Dr Gerald Garcia. Just wanted to acknowledge and thank all the professional and compassionate health care workers that took part in my care. Thanks to ... -My pre and post surgery nurses and students at the PACU, Adrian & Jennifer .. you did great. -Dr Perry, the anesthesiologist and his superb team. You listened carefully to all my previous issues/concerns and took care of them flawlessly. -ALL the nurses and OR staff ...didn't really get to interact with you much, but I appreciated your care. -My nurses, aides and students on the 5th Floor, Jennifer & Bret, LoriBeth Nunemaker, Julianna, Jobie & Darcie... I couldn't have ask for better care during my one night hospital stay. From the staff at check in and security to check out... infinite thanks.
3 tries over 2 weeks to make an appointment. No one seems to have a good phone number. Online the number is the main hospital but then you are transfered around and around after explaining what you need to an ENDLESS parade of people who seem to have no idea what's going on. It should not be this hard to made a friggin' appointment. So I gave up and actually went down to the Magee Women Hospital and went in in-person to make the appointment. The next day they called me to say they had made a mistake and had to cancel that appointment and that I should call in again and reschedule. No thank you.
I think every employee in this building is as professional as can be. Doctor Stahl is nothing short of amazing. Rooms are extremely clean. So if you're giving birth don't consider another hospital.
My wife went there in October of 2019 and very rude people and the doctor she was ignorant didn't know her job! And I gave them my insurance and they still got wrong insurance down. I do not recommend this place!!!!! Go somewhere else my wife did much happier now!!!
