Stroll a boardwalk with a river view and a sky view of the Arrigoni Bridge. We went to view the full moon rising and play our djembes and flute. Passersby we’re all pleasant. The moon over the water was worth the wait.
It is a really nice place to picnic, just don’t forget to bring a picnic pad. They have a restroom but they blocked, make sure you won’t drink too much water lol! Also the calzone I made was so good! Dog-friendliness: There has trails can walk around! Picnic area: So many trees so we can sit under the shadows
I has the chance to visit this peaceful and nice place with amazing people.. the view is great and easy access to come in
This is such a beautiful spot to come to there is parking as well. I love bringing my dog here she loves to walk around and sit and stare at the river I enjoy watching the boats go by as well you can also fish off the dock. They have picnic benches that are here so you can sit and relax after a nice walk if you have not checked this place out before you should because there is such a nice view here.
Great spot for those wanting to take sunrise and sunset pictures. I even had the welcome surprise of getting photo bombed by Wesleyan Womens Rowing Team. Made for some great pictures. Convenient parking right next to the boardwalk. Can't wait for the new restaurant to reopen.
Check out the flowers and plants throughout spring and summer. They are gorgeous in bloom. Bring in your camera for some cool shots. What a feeling you get when you go on that walk and you like me can see interesting things at the park. There are cruise nights once a month or two at this site.
Beautiful view of the Connecticut River. It's so nice watching the boats and family, and doggies all enjoying the weather by the riverside.
Good views of the river and a nice walkway. I like that it connects to the main parking lot.
The board walk could use to be longer. The statue of Christopher Columbus needs to go! He DID NOT discover America. And there needs more picnic areas and more parking.
This is another great place to go have a great view of the Ct River and The Portland Bridge and read or go fishing or watch the kids getting rowing lessons for a race coming up not sure what day they are going to be racing but they just started getting the 1st lesson last week Dog-friendliness: Dog's are OK as long as they are on a leash. There is a portable outhouse.
