South Dakota School of Mines and Technology Strength and Conditioning Program is dedicated and determined to developing its student-athlete’s mental and physical ability to the highest level possible. This will be achieved through comprehensive training programs based on scientifically sound principals that emphasize the improvement of: Strength, Speed, Reactive Agility, Stability, and Mobility.
Training Program Components
Sports Performance – strength and conditioning, vision training, and mental training
Sleep / Rest –every student-athlete should get at least 8 hours of sleep a night
Nutrition – make healthy choices *** Most important meals-breakfast/post workout
South Dakota School of Mines and Technology Strength and Conditioning program will provide an environment for the student-athlete to maximize their athletic potential in their respected sport as well as teach leadership, dedication, and determination to excel in both athletics and future endeavors.
