Such a great getaway so close to Fredricton! City one minute then you drive into a Paradise that make you feel like you are tropical!!! The water park is so refershing ‍ with 3 water sides for the kids TONS of lounger chairs that you can dry off on, or just lay and sunbathe. Canteen off to the side that have reasonable prices that won’t cost an arm and a leg!! Water park, washroom/ changing rooms look and smell clean Tent areas are all in their own corralled off area RV sites give you lots of room for family activists There is a walking trail, waterfront, boating, wharf, slip way, canoe rental SO MUCH TO DO, SO MUCH FUN! If you haven’t been, you should really try to book a weekend!! They also did Christmas in July, and Santa made a visit!!! Playground: A few play areas, and mini golf Restrooms: In the water park, clean and smells nice! Picnic area: The whole area is a great picnic spot!
An absolute gem of a campground! The water park is amazing & the kids & adults all came off the slides with big smiles! The river is a treat even just to look at & calm enough to paddle on. The sites are spacious & garbage bin + recycling at the corner of each site. Very clean bathrooms & facilities & free showers! Great mini-golf at a fair price & a fantastic bike trail right to Fredericton. Great location close to town for shopping / fuel & attractions like Kings Landing! We just stayed 2 nights but could easily stay for a whole week if we come back to Nova Scotia!
View is spectacular and park really clean, showers and bathrooms very well taken care of! A huge water park for the kids as well
If I could have packed up this campsite in my luggage to move it closer to our home / I wouldn’t have thought about twice! If this park was closer to our home - I’d staycation every weekend! What an awesome park and location!!! Everyone we came across was super friendly and always happy to assist - not surprising as they live in a beautiful area, I know I’d always be happy too if I lived there. This campground is not too far from Fredericton should you need the bigger stores, restaurants or medical assistance. The lots are spacious and there are a lot dedicated to non seasonal campers. We had lot #3 which backed to the river and the walking path - it felt like heaven! We were surrounded by lots of wildlife from the aquatic sort to the four legged kind… Many people came prepared to fish off the dock - We don’t fish but those folks fishing against the sunset backdrop made for gorgeous pics! You could not ask for a better place to watch both the sunrises and sunsets - although I am very partial to their sunsets - they were unbelievable. Site #3 has since been sketched into my memory as my happy place The campground offered two areas to shower, one by the pool and the other by the laundry area. The water was hot and the water pressure was great. The showers are free. During our visit there were no snack bar or restaurant on site… this wasn’t such a big deal but it did require some pre-planning to bring stuff back from town before settling into our relaxing routine. This campground has an awesome waterpark that would please both young and old. Your site fee includes bracelets for unlimited access to the waterpark. They also have a very cool mini putt which stays open all day and into dusk. It is surrounded by trees and as such we could see lots and lots of bugs but it looked very cool. The mini-putt is at an extra cost… nonetheless, it was very popular. The park is right beside a wonderful trail that can take you right into Fredericton - should you wish to do that. We didn’t venture that far onto it but it was very nicely done and quite wide. You can walk to Tim Hortons just under 30 minutes or bike there even faster as we seen a lot do. The park was a little more expensive than some others but well worth it.
AMAZING place, AMAZING staff. Everyone was very kind and helpful. The facility is great. The main attraction is definitely the water park, which is the best water park of 25 different campsites I've been to. As well, the golf course is the best I've seen. For anyone with young children, this is the best of the maritime for camping. Keep in mind that the fee to actually camp there only includes 4 people. If more are camping there and wish to swim/golf, they must purchase another pass. Seems like a bit of a cash grab, but it is what it is. Very dog friendly. The trans canada trail goes right through so it's an excellent place to walk your dog. I hope to visit again, but until then, I reccomend you visit this campground. Playground: Fairly well maintained. Easy to access. Restrooms: Very clean. Lots of spiderweb. Showers are free, no coin operation. Dog-friendliness: We took our dog there. Huge trail for dogs, lots of grass space. Not allowed on pool deck. Very good for dogs.
Meet campground out there. Great views of the Saint John River, a great water park to keep the kids entertained, great kayaking and fishing a Po t and great walking and biking trails to take the dog for a walk or go for a bike ride. Paddleboard and kayak rentals. Beautiful waterfront lots to watch the sunset every evening. Lots to do and see.
Great time once again! Nice park...Kids had a blast. Mini golf needs a facelift but the water park was great and the staff were friendly! We'll be back!
We spent a night here on the group lot #1. The lot was HUGE, we had enough space for 3 tents, a screen tent and 2 picnic tables that were provided. The pool area was amazing and fun for all of us, adults included. There are a total of 3 slides, the green slide going into the kiddie pool was perfect for the younger ones, the blue and the rainbow slides were extremely fun. Besides the amazing pool and water slides off the pool area is a cute little fun zone with a few arcade games. The bathrooms were huge and the whole campground was very clean. Thanks Hartt island, we will be back.
We took the kids there to use the water slides and mini putt. They have to have adult supervision and they want to charge each adult the same rate as those using the waterside. They are taking advantage of people. All they need to do is only allow people with bracelets to ride the slides. Will take my family elsewhere from now on. The new owners are ripping people off.
After spending $125 plus tax a night it was disappointing to use the pool and it being so over crowded because 200 bracelets was sold to public. Couldn't find chairs and couldn't move an inch without getting elbowed or kicked by kids. To me its a safety issue having that many people in pool. I guess its more about money to owners.Jellystone is cheaper and more to do! Would be a decent spot otherwise
