First the furniture is top quality and second Karin is a pleasure to work with she’s very polite, funny and is very knowledgeable about the furniture she sells. I purchased a sofa, rocker chair, coffee table, console and two area rugs. My new apartment looks amazing! Thank you Karin!
Our sales associate was amazing at helping us get the look we were going for. She also gave us 12% military discount. She was friendly, knowledgeable and caring.
Bought a $5000 couch and had issues with couch within 30 days. Called guardsman to claim the issue. Guardsman denied our claim even though our sales person said it would be covered. My wife left a review also and havertys responded for us to contact the manager. I called to speak to the manager and they had left for the day. I left a message but was never contacted by the manager. Totally terrible service buyer beware of bad service and product.
Purchased a couch here last year and was recommended to purchase the warranty. We were told the warranty Guardmans would fix anything on our sectional. Ever since then, we've had multiple issues with our sectional. Guardsman doesn't want to fix anything and comes up with excuses and you can never get anyone on the phone. Havertys wasn't much help either. 5k wasted. Update:: called and asked for a manager. Was told manager was not in but left a message. Manager never called us back. Terrible service
Karin was most helpful and very knowledgeable about all the things that were important to me. The sectional I purchased was in stock, so, this was a very quick transaction.
Their salesman John was very informative and helpful. Our desire to select and purchase a leather sectional for our Den was seamless.
Karin was incredibly helpful and answered every question we had. We were not planning on buying that day however she made us a deal we could not pass up. After this experience we will be back.
I bought a floor sample because I thought it was a reasonable price and I could get the couch and chair right away instead of the five weeks the salesman told me it would be for a brand new sofa and chair. The salesman told me a new sofa and chair would end up being the same price as the floor sample because they were starting a sale the next day. I opted for the floor sample because the only flaw was a tiny, barely noticeable scratch on the arm. The sofa and chair were delivered, and the sofa had a hole where the two pieces connected together. It looked like the points sticking out on the one side punctured the other side. This part of the couch was not visible while it was on the showroom floor. I even bought the protection plan that allows for the replacement of the couch. I sent the picture of the hole in the couch to Haverty's customer service and was given the option of cancelling the whole transaction or exchanging the couch for a new one for the regular price so I would have to give them additional money. They told me they had two of the couches at their warehouse. Hmmmm I was told that to get a new one it would be five weeks. I only had the couch for a week! I guess the new couch availability was misrepresented. Haverty's did not have the customer service acumen to offer me the couch at the sale price, which was the same as the floor sample price. I have bought from Haverty's before but will most likely not be going back.
Judy and Debra were great to work with and really put their efforts and energy into helping this color blind mail with little furniture experience select new dining and living room furniture. I really like what they put together and appreciate how quickly they did it. I feel confident that I've purchased a set of furniture that I will be able to enjoy for years to come thanks to their efforts. They both deserve a raise! Jeff W
You just can't compare the quality of furniture you get at Havertys. My review is more about our sales woman and the customer staff. Margaret S. was phenomenal. Such a pleasure to deal with and never felt pressured. She took such interest in helping us find exactly what we were looking for. Her knowledge and patience were amazing. We happened to come upon outstanding sales for accessories while we were shopping for a dining set. The staff were so friendly and easy to deal with; all helping each other and knowing exactly what was going on. They stayed after closing 35 min to get us checked out and settled. Such a wonderful experience.
