He gets 1 star for the fact that I brought my teenage son in due to him having frequent urination and was scheduled at 11 am. We were brought into the exam room and sat there for over 3 hours before the Dr. came in. He had a great bedside manner and for that he gets 5 stars but if he is short staffed he should adjust his schedule accordingly. Also he is Closed until Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and is with each patient for about an hour minimum. It wouldn't have been so bad if anyone would have come in and explained that he's running behind and it may take a while before he can see you but they did not do that. No one said anything they just put us in the room and left.
This place is unacceptable. I brought my mom in for a checkup after being released from the hospital and had to wait 3 1/2 hours before she was seen. 3 hours in the exam room and another 30 mins with the nurse for the evaluation. Total time here 4+ hours. Practice is not that busy just molasses. I’m back again with her for her follow up appointment and we have been waiting in reception for 2 hours with no explanation for why it is taking so long. The receptionist was nonchalant and non caring. Will find another practice I’ve had enough!!!!!! The practitioner was nice enough but no explanation for why he is so slow. Zero stars Go somewhere else!!!!!
They are very slow. I waited 3.5 hours at a scheduled visit for lab work and waited an hour for scheduled Covid test. The staff do not seem busy-just seem to lack any efficiency. It’s much quicker to drive to another town for care. They are kind but that just isn’t enough.
The worst!!!! I checked my kids in at 1:30 p.m and the clinic closed at 5:00 p.m if it wasn't for my kids needed to be seen I would've walked out. My kids said mama this the worst they said they miss Mrs. Jackie. The time now is 5:24 p.m and still have not been seen this is the worst. I will be looking for them a new doctor office to attend. My kids and myself are so fratracted.
Scheduled appointment 2 weeks prior, sat in room from 11:30 til nearly 2 waiting to be seen, with no interaction what so ever. Just needed an allergy test and blood work done. Didn't do anything but check to see if I had a pulse.
Went in for a simple EKG. It took about 5 minutes for the procedure and I waited in a room for over an hour and was never seen and I had to be somewhere. Office was clean and staff was nice enough but why have your patients wait soooo long?? I'll never go back.
I love Dr Tracey but the wait time is out of this world my appointment was at 2:30pm and he still hasn't come in here and the place is closed it's going on 3 hours waiting 14 more min and it will be 3 hours
The np are great, in truth,everyone in back is great....it's the getting back to see them or leaving a call for them that's allll wrong...there seems to be no rhyme or reasoning in the overscheduling. Front staff not helpful at all. Repetitive 3 hr to 4 hr waits for a booked appt might be an occasional thing but it certainly shouldn't be an EVERYDAY thing!
I have to go every 3 months for a check up. I’ve never waited more than 20-30 minutes past my appointment time. And that’s was only a couple of times that happened. I’m almost always headed back within 5-10 minutes of my appointment time at worst. The staff is always very friendly and attentive. I’ve never had an issue with anyone there answering my questions or listening to my concerns. Tracy and Brittany are great and so are their staff. Most of these reviews are for the previous medical practice that was at this location. Heartland took over the building late 2020 I believe. They haven’t been at this location very long. I wrote this review in June of 2022.
Dr. Tracy Scott is an excellent doctor! Very smart and professional... he treats his patients better than family. It's always a pleasant experience with Heartland Family Medical! The staff couldn't be any better!
