Pleasantly surprised by how clean the facility was, especially the restrooms. The staff were efficient, informative and kind. The login info required was online and easy plus, very little wait. They were so organized, efficient, and clean!! My specialist tech, Daisy was quick, clean, and thorough, constantly updating me on her next steps so I wasn't surprised. When she let Dr. Barth know I was ready, the doctor came immediately. They were wonderful!!
They are turning people away because of their inability to pay. I had an appointment today to get a note to return to work after having a baby and being off work the last 8 weeks they refused to see me because I owe a balance of 345$ even though according to the paper they gave me my insurance has covered 3,600$ worth of my bill..
Not sure why such low ratings, this doctors office is the best around. They care and are compassionate to their clients. I've never had any issues here, i will continue to come to this office over any other office.
My family and I attempted to start services here for dental work and mental health. Starting with mental health: I was scheduled for an “evaluation” and was told that I would benefit from counseling. I make an appointment same day for the following week and when I arrived I was told that the appointment was scheduled under another patients name but they had cancelled it regardless. Staff scrambled to find a therapist to talk to me I wish I could remember the therapist they found so I could name drop her, and when the staff at the front desk heard who it would be she talked her up and said she would be a great fit. I have only ever encountered one therapist in my life worse than the one they found to talk to me. No empathy, no compassion, and she made no effort to build rapport before trying to extract some of the most painful and humiliating feelings I have ever experienced. I even told her at one point I was not willing/ready to have a conversation that deep, and her response was “well I need to make a care plan so you need to give me the information”. She heavy handily attempted to put words in my mouth multiple times-“you want a different therapist, right?” “Did you want to go ahead and work with the therapist you were supposed to meet with?” Even though I did not say, hint at or allude to wanting another therapist, only a few minutes after arriving home I received a call from the scheduling department stating that they spoke to the same therapist mentioned previously, and she said I was to be scheduled with someone else. Talk about being in the wrong field! Even already being in an episode of severe depression, I felt infinitely worse after this encounter. It’s called trauma informed care, HealthPoint. Screen your applicants to ensure they have this skill before hiring them in. Absolutely pathetic all around. Now dental: My entire family was scheduled for an initial new patient appointment and when we arrived and began checking in, this manic employee inserted himself in the check in process, asking us questions we had already answered and talking at us about things I did not care to retain. The dentist was perfectly pleasant as was his tech, but it’s the scheduler’s/receptionists that have left a sour taste in our mouths. We had to schedule out all of our follow ups for treatment months in advance which whatever, we get this is just now life post-COVID and just as I was getting ready to come up on my first appointment in June, I am woken up by a phone call and text from HealthPoint informing me they have canceled my appointment. This agency needs to be shut down so administrators can clean house and create the business they advertise having. I am beyond disgusted by our experiences and not only have no intention of ever going back, I am going to make sure I share this information with anyone and everyone I encounter. Nobody should be made to feel worse or beyond help because they struggle with issues outside of your scope of practice. People should not have to live in fear of their teeth falling out because of inadequate/incompetent scheduling practices. Do better, HealthPoint. You should be ashamed.
Dr. Patricia Broughton is amazing however trying to get anyone on the line or to return a call to get appointments and refills is a nightmare. Literally have to call and leave a message every single day. I know how hard everyone here works but management needs to hire more folks it seems.
Horrible physicians and staff, Do not care about the health of their patients. Never going again and will tell everyone I know not to go to Healthpoint.
The medical line to speak to a nurse just answered and hung up three times 3:50pm-3:54pm 8/9/23. I heard the background for one second then CLICK this place is horrible.
Pat broughton is awesome caring and ask how u are and if taking medicine and if helps and takes urine when necessary very profession ans very caring for her ans ex pations too
I was only there once but my nephew was and still is A patient there and since 2012 he's had half his foot amputated diabetes Mrsa infection 8xs with each time requiring a 6wk hospital stay 4 heart attacks 7 stents bad back since 2011 and over 40 inpatient surgeries been on pain meds since 2011 and 25 other medications but since other people dont know how to handle there meds they cut him off his pain meds and NO HE DIDNT FAIL ANY DRUG TEST never has they are just scared they might disappoint certain political parties didn't even gradually take him off them after being on them since 2005 ever since then he self medicate himself just lucky he hasn't gotten fentanyl t he the man has been A mess thank God he sees somebody on the 26 this month who says they can help So I say stay away far away from here lol won't even talk about the Dental office
This location is awful! Always take long to be checked in and always difficult to get ahold of someone. The voicemail has not been working for a while now even after it’s been brought to their attention and now the phone line is not working
