Healthy Garden Restaurant Piscataway

Got 2 pizzas from them. Both vegan with dairy free cheese. Usually when I get vegan pizza they always skimp on the cheese. Not here. They put it down thick and the veggies we nice and fresh. They whole place is really clean and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this place to anyone vegan or not.

Guacamole was delish! Food was ok. We ordered the Margherita pizza and it was too wet because of the stewed tomatoes on it and it was not done well enough. The Tuscan pizza had too many sun-dried tomatoes. The service was great and prices were ok.

Each time I visit this establishment I am overwhelmed with the abundance of genuine care and compassion I receive! It's not like going to a restaurant, it's like going home to a successful family business and eating as well as you're treated! They are highly accommodating and generous, you will walk in hungry and leave filled with quality ingredients. By far the team operating Healthy Garden is exceptional and I appreciate each one of them!!

Great spot to grab a meal or healthy drink. Takeout was quick and the food was fresh. There were also gluten-free and vegan options. I recommend the fresh start omlette and the peach, strawberry, and banana smoothie. Will be coming here regularly!

Best Place for hangout with friends and also to have a fresh and health juices. I visited 3 times and tried 3 different juices..all are good. My favourite one so far is BIG FIVE, not sure if everyone likes it.

I ordered a shrimp wrap and it was pretty much a salad wrap. The shrimp didn’t even had much seasoning to it. But what upset the most was the amount of shells left in it, no care at all.

The food is very fresh and unique. The service however can be very slow even the restaurant is not too busy.

As others have stated there is a long wait time so order about 30 mins in advance. However their food is very good quality. All of the veggies in my salad were fresh, perfectly green avocados, no wilted lettuce, tomatoes still firm. The grilled chicken was hot and not dry, although could use a bit more seasoning or flavoring. All in all I definitely will be back to try other items on their menu as you cant beat the freshness of their food.

Went there at lunch time and the wait for a wrap was ~30-45 minutes. Okay, no worries maybe lunch time is just busy. Got the food which was pretty bland and dry, but hey what can you expect from a "health food" place? I gobbled down half my wrap since I was running late on my lunch break and asked the waitress for the bill and a box to take the other half of my wrap. Took a quick trip to the bathroom and when I came back, my food had been thrown away. I asked the cashier why my food was thrown away after I specifically asked for a go-to box and no one knew why. I still had to pay for half the food I had to gobble down after the long wait... all for half a mediocre wrap. I'm usually a good tipper but that was a no from me. Terrible, terrible, terrible.

Tried Healthy Garden again today after not going there for over a year because of poor service and what do you know. It's even worse!!! Placed an easy order for a Pizza and a side of Guacamole and was told 20 minutes. Well it's an hour and order just came out now. Pizza was completely cold because it sat there waiting for the guacamole to be ready. Was hard to tell if it was even completely cooked so had to put it in the oven when we got home just to be safe. Wouldn't have been so bad but the place was empty. Come on really., No other place that I have been to has ever been this slow even with a crowd. If you have that kind of time to wait that long for your food then go for it. Time is valuable these days and shouldn't be wasted waiting an hour at an empty place for a pizza.
