First and foremost, I have to give ultimate thanks to Vicky at the Madison Oaks location, and Julie in the Schertz location. These two ladies worked diligently to help me get a necessary cardiac clearance for my upcoming hip replacement surgery. When I was in tears feeling like my orthopedic doctors office was lackadaisical and nonchalant in trying to help get a clearance they requested; these ladies jumped through proverbial hoops, to help make it happen. Thank you to Dr. Colligan, for seeing me on such short notice and for being another person in this great medical group to help today!
Dr Colligan cares about his patients. He explains everything very well. Makes you feel good that you are being taken care of.
I really do not go out of my way to leave a review however this is ridiculous. My wife was scheduled for an appointment at 7:15am by the front desk lady days ago. We arrived here at 7 only to find the office does not open until 8am. The person scheduling made a mistake. My wife also gave them her insurance information days ago and they failed to update it in their system. The front desk girl just told us we have to be rescheduled for another day. Stay away from this facility, these workers are incompetent of their basic job duties.
Doctor Scott Moore was thorough and capable, as was his medical support staff, but his office staff refused to request additional authorizations from my insurance Tricare. That was the first of the many offices I dealt with to do that. I guess they have too many patients. I won't be one of them in the future. Carl Lance Former patient.
Dr. Greiner is fantastic; however the business office is horrid. How is it fair to me to be responsible to pay full price for the initial visit? I tried to give authorization number to the little girl in the front and was told it was not necessary. I have since disposed of the number. It is the responsibility of the specialty doctor’s help to obtain this information and authorizations prior to the patient being seen. I paid my co-pays and now they are demanding that i pay for their mistake. I have made several calls to my PCP and insurance. They both concur that the specialty doctor needed to have the referral prior to my visit. They did not get this until my second visit and this is where the problem lies. I receive another bill in the mail and the amount went from $169 to $220. I don’t get it and I refuse to pay. I refuse to pay for their mistakes.
Called two weeks ago to make an appointment. You have to leave a message, no one returns phone calls. In September of 2020 I called 3 times and left a message for my doctor because I had 95 percent blocked carotid artery and had to have surgery. He called back in October, 2 hours after I had surgery and was literally still in ICU. This is a Cardiologist not a hair salon. You should return phones calls. They are putting lives in danger every time they do not return a call. I was also told by a tech doing my echo cardiogram early in 2020 they they were not seeing patients over age 60 right at that time so they were not real busy.
Dr. Durham and his staff were incredible! I had recently experienced some heart complications and had to go in to a clinic to get testing to see what was going on. I originally went to a different clinic and had a horrible experience. So then I found this Heart Clinic and Dr. Durham was available to meet with me within a few days and completed all of the testing in less than a week. He is very thorough and his staff is friendly & efficient. Nothing but great things to say about this place!!!
Dr. Greiner saved my life. I had been having some troubling symptoms, but since I was relatively young, I never thought it could be heart-related. Within our first visit, Dr. Greiner had her suspicions, which turned out to be correct. I ended up needing a triple bypass and later found out that I was very close to possibly having a heart attack. If it had not been for Dr. Greiner's diagnostic skills, I very well may not have been able to write this review. Everyone at the clinic has always been extraordinarily helpful and kind. I have recommended the clinic to many family members and friends.
An exercise of frustration. Web page is not up to date. No operating hours, and worst of all phone access to staff is nonexistent. Very frustrating when one gets to office and staff is ready to go home and is not at all helpful. Bad experience!! Answering service is worthless.
Staff don't care about patient, will answer the phone or when they answer they put you on hold, and she speak with me not even a few seconds later and telling me i have to put you on hold have, i have a patient just came in, she did that twice and don't even bother to come back, waited for about 20 minutes and finally i hang up. this is what i wrote to them ; I am really disappointed in you, what kind a stauff and Dr. that will not reply to patient by phone or patient portal , it has be a week since the Dr. prescribe medicine for me, but the pharmacy send you a request for preauthorization, but they did not get any response from you, and my Insurance will not speak to me only will speak to the Dr., person will die and you don't care, I am sorry I chose your place to get care.
