"No phone, no pool, no pets", as the old Roger Miller song goes. If you don't have to have that stuff at your campsite, then this one will do you just fine. Nestled down in a hollow with hills all around, this is as peaceful and quiet as it gets! 30 or 50 amp, city water and weekly bumpster garbage pickup. Plenty of room between spots. Owners are local brothers and very cool guys. The other campers and I are long-term or permanent residents, and all very nice folks. Walmart 4 miles away plus the town of Weston a stone's throw further. What's not to like?!?
When I think of an RV park, Hefner's is not what I imagine. There are no amenities or even an office, it is literally just a place to park your rig with hookups and a dumpster. With that being said compared to others in the area that are basically gravel parking lots, Hefner's is the best around. There is at least a grassy yard area and large sites which are fairly well maintained. When we did have a minor problem with water, Harley very promptly took care of it. We stayed for three months while in the area for work and enjoyed our time here due to great neighbors and a pleasant owner.
Not bad place everybody is full timers here most work on the pipeline lots of kids around and nice big grassy area for them all to play. Harley the owner is decent and place is clean. There are no hiking trails around or a place to walk. Gotts drive 20 mins to walk the dogs is my only complaint. I believe the website says there is trails. There is not.
A great place for families with kids or without. It's pet friendly, Trails to take your kids hiking on, very friendly people, and quiet nights. Also it is about 5 min to Wal-Mart from here.
This is a very nice and peaceful place to visit and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature and very clean surroundings and a well maintained environment for the whole family and pets friendly there are trails that you can walk around a little run behind the sites no one bothers you the Hefners are very friendly and polite people Randy is a great person and very caring and helpful come on out it is a family owned business not to many sites so you are comfortable and safe in these beautiful surroundings thank you so very much Randy Hefner you really do make it feel like home.
Could have been a 5. Absolutely perfect for our overnight. Would be perfect for long-stay. The road in may seem precarious, as it is narrow with a mountain on one side and drops off on the other. Used to be a mobile home park so the pads are nearly level. Surrounded by nature and a smattering of long-stayers with a few kids... outside... playing . Everything was considerably quiet from 9pm to 8am i wake earlier Family owned, very helpful and friendly. Took extra time to make certain i understood the directions he provided. Even edited a satellite pic to clearly mark my spot, as my arrival would be after normal hours. Would give 5 stars, but i never read those myself, as most are paid... i was not. This was exactly my wonderful experience here overnight on June 30th, 2022
Hefner’s is a quiet little campground for RVs with full hook ups. It’s clean and quiet. Large spaces enable privacy and the family that runs the place are lovely. Two brothers have the sites hence separate phone numbers on the board. Randy has the side with fewer but larger spots. He was our landlord and I can say he was an exceptional landlord! As many places as we have traveled never have we had a more accommodating camping experience. we were full-time for months for a work contract and found the location close just between two exits to 79 which made it very convenient. Also Walmart, gas, and restaurants and urgent care are close by. 600/650 a month includes everything!
It's a good spot to be stationary for a while. Mostly quiet. No amenities No laundry or playground but both are close. 3 miles to the store and gas.
Quiet beautiful location in the hills, close to shopping and sites.
