the owner is rude to people all the time. does not treat your loved ones with dignity. he should not be in this business I would hand gave him no stars if it was available!!!! as he had personally messaged me I thought I would add to this post. as many of the Yakama Nation know I am a caretaker of bodies. as is my sister. we taking very good care of the body till its in the ground. follow the family wishes best we can. I can make this statement above Monte because I have watched you be rude to mothers, fathers, sisters ,brother, husband's and wives while they deal with one of the toughest times I life. I have stood up for families so their wishes can be followed. you just do for the money and you treat people so rude. I always recommend they go somewhere else. I don't want them to have to deal with you waking all over their already hurting hearts. even though the soul has left the body we still need to take care of it properly in our way. I don't know what happened to you Monte. you use to be a man of the people. you where once kind and understanding. that is gone now. I pray you find your way because the work is hard enough without so much negativity. PRAYERS UP
I attended the service for Nola Tabyoyon and was very disappointed. The pastor did not show up, the replacement pastor picked from the people that were there was not prepared at all, not his fault. The funeral home should have given him instructions, and information about Nola. Nolas own daughter had to help with hair and makeup for her own mother. Unbelievable. After the service we all drove to the gravesite where again nothing was planned. As soon as we arrived we were told that the graveside service had concluded. There was no service, no final prayer, nothing.
I attended Nola Tabayoyon funeral service and was completely appalled.I was sitting behind the Gentleman that the Funeral Director ask if he would speak because the pastor that was supposed to be there did not show up. One that he chose to speak at her Funeral. Totally not prepared what kind of Funeral Director does that!Nola was apart of the community for over 50 years you can not tell me Funeral Director you could not get information about her life. You Funeral Director should always be prepared that is your job no matter what! Her Daughter's had to do her hair and makeup! I never heard of that! So very hard to lose a loved one but to have to do her hair and makeup too. I am appalled! No one should have to go through that. No one to direct traffic at the stop sign and stop light for the Funeral service absolutely no respect sem I in-between and that was in town two places should have been stop for traffic till we got on the freeway. My heart goes out to the Family. Nola was apart of the community and that is how you if you want to call you a Funeral Director of Colonial Service of Toppenish conducted her Funeral. At the grave site all he said you can throw dirt or your boutonniere or flower on her casket that concludes the Funeral. Soooo very unprofessional.Nola was a wonderful, Beautiful woman and Mom. Funeral Director of Colonial Funeral Service of Toppenish did a horrible job.
Colonial is the best funeral home around. Very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this funeral home for all your needs!
Colonial Funeral home treated us like family. Our 4.5 year old German Shepherd Rosey passed away unexpectedly and we weren't sure what to do or who to turn to for pet cremations. After a quick google search I found Colonial Funeral Home. Monty and his wife were fantastic and an absolute god send during this difficult time. They reassured us all would be ok and she would be well looked after. They even met us 3 hours after they closed for the work day. With an unexpected 2 day turn around time, we received Rosey back in a beautiful wooden urn. I would absolutely recommend Monty and his business to anyone who has a loss in their family or to get a head start planning. Thank you Colonial, We very much appreciate your services!
I didn't have any contact with any one here. But after having to put my 14 year old boxer down 4/21/21, was a very hard thing to do. But my vet offered cremation and I took that. I believe she was in good hands and I have to say I didn't think she would come back home in such a prettier box than I thought. The rainbow Bridge poem was perfect. I believe that one day I will see our girl again and she will be able to run and jump. Thank you for making me feel a little happier that in some sense I got to bring her home.
My family has been using Colonial for years and years they have been incredible, I am so grateful. And they will treat you like you're a part of their family too!
One of the best funeral homes around. Treated us like family. I recommend going through this funeral home. 10/10!
Leaving garage door open so the public can walk on in and see the naked bodies! This company cannot be trusted with the security of our loved ones.
