Cute little park that we stopped at. Wished there were more falls but worth the stop.
It is an extremely beautiful place to take your kids and family. They have a cute little waterfall and also a playground.
I This is a beautiful place. Stream for kids young and old to play in. Playground is fair. Seen nicer Playgrounds. The bathrooms entrance is mor Hamdocap friendly. There is No Way a wheelchair cam fit into the door of the bathroom. Many bridges over the water need repaying. If a child of mine fell through the sides, You would be facing a lawsuit. Bathrooms need the locks on the door in the stalls fixed. Don't even lock . Dangerous situation. I found someone's drugs tossed in the bushes. This Park has potential to be a nicer park.. the doors in bathroom need a good cleaning , stall doors too. Personally I think whoever is over Parks and Rec should pay places they are over a cisir on a regular bases. I have taken pictures and will share with you .
Nice place with waterfalls and some walking trails, tennis courts and bathroom Restrooms: Right next to the parking lot Dog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome
We went for the first time on Labor Day and was pleasantly surprised by the park. Not only was it easy to get too, but it is also dog friendly. The creek was crystal clear and there are a few spots where you can get in the water. Our rat terrier Lizzy went right to the creek and was all over the place. There are multiple pinic tables for use and restrooms. The waterfall was very pretty and located in a shaded area which made it nicer to enjoy. I would highly recommend this little hidden gem in Toccoa. Also, it's free! *Only reason for 4 stars, is that the grounds needed to be mowed.
Nice little park out of the way. Nice little water fall to check out.
This park actually has a lot going on! As soon as you turn into the entrance, tennis courts are on either side of the road. Next, we see a pavilion and small amphitheater. The highlight is probably the waterfall with a descending staircase and overlook. After this, we find a covered bridge and more pavilions. Following these are a swing set and playground for children off to the left in the back of the park. If that wasn't enough, there's a couple walking trails right past the last footbridge, each no more than half a mile long. Turned out better than expected. I recommend giving this park a visit if you happen to be in the area.
This was such a lovely park, perfect for a picnic or a family day. We will definitely be going back. The falls were a bit small, but nice. There are several pavilions to have parties or lunches at, a playground, and a large field to play in, and of course the creek to play in. The only thing we didn't like was the day we went, there was a large group of people using one of the pavilions blasting their music. When I go to a park, I like to enjoy nature and enjoy the peacefulness. Hearing music blasted super loud isn't really what I want at a family park.
I took my kids because I went there when was younger and the only thing that's changed was they took one play ground down, it's a beautiful place and I love how there is a spring running through it and it's well kept up and we will definitely be going back really soon! I would highly recommend this place and make sure you either bring something to change into or dress them in something where they can get in the water so they can see the waterfall up close, absolutely gorgeous
This is a great place to have family gatherings. The walkways to the pavilions are handicap accessible you can ride scooter there. Bathrooms easy to reach and clean. Park close for the kids. We had a great time for my nephews 3 Rd birthday party. We had his there last year just different pavilion.
