I recently used The Henderson Funeral Home in Hernando, MS to bury my brother my CLOSEST sibling, my BEST friend, John A. Burdette. And Mrs. Cheryl Pegues, the coordinator/assistant at your funeral home ABSOLUTELY moved me! She was such a sweet heart... so kind, so patient, and professional! Mrs. Pegues helped me organize and plan my brothers home-going from start to finish. She reduced my stress level from to to “ZERO”! And, I can’t leave out the gentlemen who were in charge of the burial services... they were SO kind, professional, and personable. And last but certainly not least, Ms Ann Johnson! She is so creative!!! She designed the most beautiful obituary, vault cover, and easel photo for my brother. I want to thank all of them for that... Still, it is because of Mrs. Pegues that I will be using your funeral services for ALL of my late relatives in the future. And as long as she is in charge of the funeral arrangements, I will be referring others as well ... AND YOU CAN COUNT ON IT!!! Thank you, Hernando Funeral Homes, for hiring such a beautiful staff!
If I could list zero I would. Called them at 11:30 after losing my grandfather to set up arrangements and the woman was SO rude and acted hugely put out cannot imagine a place that’s supposed to be dealing with freshly grieving people could treat them like this! Disgusting.
