A small but good for practices hole in one. An ok setup course but some of the holes are too close that you have to watch out for the discs from other players that might hiting you. A course that you dont have to worry losing your disc.
Very cramped and kinda of confusing. It is a good course though. The pars are beginner pars so I play all par 3s. Great 21 hole course!
It's a good disc gold park. Just need to fix the issue with not always being able to cross the creek for the back like 6 baskets. Have seen people put bricks there so it can be but they always get removed
Decent disc golf course. It needs managed better by the parks dept in Ankeny.
Beautiful park with the grass mowed perfectly and far enough from the road that you can hear the birds chirping and see other small creatures. Lots of big, beautiful old trees so plenty of areas of shade while playing disc golf.
Nice weekday course for disc golf. Front portion zig zags across a fairly open area. Back portion has a little more variety. Note the bridge to get back there is flooded for a portion of the year. Keep an eye out for poison ivy along the edges of the course and around trees. Final hole positioning is a bit confusing with some holes mislabeled.
Clean, and beautiful in the snow! Broad frisbee golf park.
Needs a flag on the nice flag pole Would be fun to build a stone bonfire area. Noticed a lot of usable wood on the ground and this area has big beautiful trees so nice picnic area close to town.
Fun disc golf course with 21 holes. Have to take off tennis shoes to cross a creek for holes 6-11, so be prepared for that--you can just skip them, but they are the most fun holes in my opinion. Also, the course is in a flood zone and can be a huge meadow with very tall grass because it's unable to dry out enough to mow. But other times it's all dried out and well trimmed.
A great park for disc golfing.
