The car was in poor conditions, all damages not declared and the tank was not full 3/4... when needed to call them to clarify the situation NO WAY to talk with them...you have to send an email!! Last time I go with them

When we arrive there were only two agents at the desk. Each agent was taking approximately 20 minutes or longer to help each customer. It took me over an hour to get through to the line with just 10 people in front of me. When I was finished there were over 50 people in line stretched out through the terminal. Very very long wait times.

The staff was really nice! Make sure to take pictures of the damages on the car before taking it to avoid any issues when returning it.

They may not be the fast, but they understand the sense of urgency. After being screwed by Avis and left stranded; a Hertz employee came to my rescue. They did not only find me a car, but they helped me out the price so that my wife and I can enjoy our honeymoon. The service I had recieved went beyond what I expected. Thank you!

Due to a mess up at a different branch I was sent to Orly Airport. Despite the complications with my booking and the other branch not bothering to forewarn them, they were still able to provide a vehicle no problem. Unlike the other reviews and maybe due to covid the branch was very quiet and I was in and out in under 15 minutes.

I rent cars all over the world and this is the slowest and least efficient operation I’ve experienced. Even with a Gold reservation I had to stand in two lines and nothing was ready. They have plenty of people “working” but mostly just walking around in circles talking to each other and ignoring customers.

Worst experience ever. We arrived half an hour in advance and waited for one hour in the queue. Turns out my boyfriend's foreign driving licence doesn't work, but stupidly, we cannot even change the main driver. The only solution is cancel it without any refund and book another one. After two hours, we went to see the manager finally its sloved. But the terrible experience didn't finish, during the rent, I wanted to extend the duration. It doesn't work online, and we cannot even get in contact with the agent through phone. The reason the gave at the return is they are too busy to answer any call. I will never recommend to any friend this company if they arrive Paris from Orly airport.

I would expect much more professional behaviour from Hertz's staff, but they probably don't care much about non-business customers. The weren´t exactly rude but extremely unhelpful and tried their best to make the process as annoying as possible. We were 15 minutes early and they told us the car wasn't ready and that we must wait. When we came back the checking process took more than half an hour I expect the car must've been ready twice by then - at one moment the guy who's been serving us actually closed the counter and just walked away !, so we had to wait in line for his colleague. Never experienced such a behaviour in any car hire in any state. Moreover, they are ridiculously expensive and always trying to scrub you off some more money. I've read bad reviews on Paris airports car hires, so it is probably not just a problem of Hertz. Better avoid all of them, next time I'll probably go by bus : If you really need to hire a car in Paris, opt for the chepest price as a more expensive company obviously doesn't get you better service.

Staff either refuse or can’t resolve problems - you have to ring customer services yourself from the desk phone and talk to them.  No flexibility.  At all.  No 5 star service prepared.  Still if you want a cheap Renault in Orly they are probably only as awful as the other firms...

The WORST customer service I have ever experienced from a car rental. We booked a car to pick up at 11pm on Wednesday but our flight were delayed and we couldnt pick it up at 11pm. We called their line at least 10 times from 6pm to 9pm when we know our planes was delayed but no one picked up. We also called them first thing in the morning of the next say asked of we can pick our car up but they refused even though it was due to a flight delay and their line were not reachable. The staff said that they couldnt let us pick it up later because we were supposed to pick it up the day before even though it was still in our rental time and did not provide any reason why
