I had the pleasure of experiencing exceptional hospitality at this hotel. The room's tasteful design and modern amenities ensured a comfortable stay, and the staff's genuine warmth and attentiveness made me feel like a valued guest. The hotel's commitment to sustainable practices was evident, and their efforts to minimize their ecological footprint were commendable. The dining options were a culinary journey, with each dish meticulously prepared and bursting with flavor. The hotel's convenient location allowed me to explore the city's attractions with ease. I left with a sense of contentment and a desire to return to this exceptional establishment.
The location is the saving grace of this Hilton. The service was non existent and dare I say rude almost every interaction. There’s no Starbucks inside as it is barricaded off and you have to get coffee at the lobby bar which makes for a longer wait and the staff aren’t friendly which is never a good start to a day. You have to schedule housekeeping a day ahead or you’re out of luck. We had overflowing trash in our room and next to the elevator. The shower was funky and switched to the 2nd shower head which was at my shoulder level but my husband had to duck down to shower. The food and service on site just wasn’t up to the standard you would expect. Pretty disappointed with our stay. The location was the biggest advantage but not worth staying here again. And the Diamond level membership didn’t help with the service.
This hotel has the perfect location. A 10-minute walk to Universal. If u don't wanna walk They offer a free shuttle service that pick you up and drop you off at Universal City Walk. The shuttle comes by every 15 minutes. It is very convenient for families. The breakfast buffet is very convenient. It is good to feed the family before heading to Universal. The hotel is clean with beautiful views of the theme park. The room is a decent size. Clean sheets and comfortable beds. I only put 4 stars to the room because the bathroom tub was slightly outdated and peeling . And the faucet was leaking. All the staff were professional, courteous, helpful, and kind from front desk staff... to the valet service. I highly recommend this place, especially to families with kids. I would definitely be booking here again. I will leave few pictures of my room view.
The carpeting was very dingy, and the aisle leading up to the room looked very dated. The front desk check in was abysmal. In retrospect, it’s probably because that individual was there from morning till night. I saw him quite often; seems like he never got time off hence his passive/ aggressive disposition. I booked a club level room and I’m still not sure what that means because the service is terrible and the food is mediocre at best. Great view though.
Couldn’t think of a better place to stay while visiting Universal Studios!!! Easy access to the Park by walking or shuttle, beautiful views all around, lovely pool to swim that’s heated - and a jacuzzi, top notch room service, massage chairs to relax in, FULL bar, and a very useful shop for all your needs! Certainly will be back! Love love!
My second stay at this hotel! Love the spa & pool, open until late at night which is great. Handy location to Universal Studios five min walk and has a train station nearby. Friendly service by all staff members, they even look after your luggage after check out. Love the turtles and fish outside in the pond. Big and tidy hotel rooms. Each room also comes with a bathtub, which is an added bonus!
Let me start by saying that if you are visiting Universal Hollywood, this is a fantastic hotel option. The walk over to the park entrance is quick and easy if you ignore the signs to the walkway and just head across to the Frankenstein Parking garage and use the escalators. We got one of the park facing rooms and the view is incredible just wish we had visited on nights where the Hogwarts Castle show was going. Check-in was quick and easy and everyone behind the desk is super helpful and nice. We did take advantage of the room service and, while it was super expensive like most room service is, it was very good food. We also stopped in to buy some snacks at the little shop which is also very expensive but again not a surprise. The property is kept very clean and pleasant. We experienced no actual problems during our stay at all. The only two complaints I have really are: 1 $40 for parking per day is a lot in addition to the room cost. I understand charging for valet but to self park in a deck that is built at the hotel it seemed an unnecessary charge. 2 The beds were hard as a rock. I'm sure a lot of folks will find this to be a positive but, as someone with hip and back issues, I did find I needed some ibuprofen each morning because of how sore I was. That all being said, we will definitely consider this hotel should we visit the area again. Nearby activities: Universal Hollywood Walkability: Super quick and easy walk to Universal's main gate.
Room is simple and dated. No bath tub. No cleaning service unless you make a request. Staff were kinda rude at the breakfast bar. For location, still need to take shuttle to universal studios. Overall quite disappointing for a room that was $450 per night.Rooms: 2/5
