Great views with the beach as well as nice spots with a restaurant as well. The place also has showers and bathrooms and when the owners are there you can buy firewood for the fire pits at each camp ground. The campgrounds each have a few outlets, a hole for RV toilets, and a table with benches.Rooms: 5/5
When booking the sites on the county website, it says nothing about RV length. I had to look at the map to realize my site was too short for my RV plus there was a palm tree in my site that wasn’t shown on the map. Crammed in like sardines and the restaurant closed the whole week I was there. I would not come back.
Beautiful sunsets! Awesome location close to Ventura but so peaceful and quiet. Camping sites close together but found everyone very quiet. The only downside was when I went to go shower the showers were closed. The ranger was accommodating and called to a different campground to let them know I was coming to shower.
Great campground, but a little pricey. No discount for senior or handicapped. Sites are a bit small for larger RVs. Some sites have hookups, some don't.Rooms: 4/5
Ah!!! Such a great spot - if you have some surfing experience- grab your board & pack up your camping gear - can’t find a better spot. The campground looks like it fills up mid day on Fridays not sure if you can reserve. Consistent waves & a consistently nice group of people who camp here for the weekend.
Super tight camping but you are very close to the beach. Clean and quiet!
Close to the ocean, ice rangers. Super cramped, beach access is horrible due to slippery rocks and during high tide there no access at all. OK- ish for one night stay.Rooms: 2/5
Rv sites are very close. Turn from the hwy. Is very sharp. Unhook toad if you have one before trying to enter. Everyone was very helpful and respectful.Location: 5/5
Park was loud and noisy all night, other guests did not respect park rules and kept playing loud music all night. Would not recommend if you want a quiet place to camp. Noteworthy details: If there was a park employee they did not enforce quiet hours.
We lucked out with the weather. It is difficult to get a large 5th wheel in, only a few hook up spots, great little shack to get food!
