Went on a $5 Tuesday. I believe the price was previously $5 alone. It's not $5.99. Still cheaper than the original price.
Easy to buy tickets online. At the window or at the kiodk inside. Not too crowded on a Sunday afternoon to see The Sound of Freedom. Good movie. Good popcorn. Friendly team. Clean bathrooms. TOO COLD IN THE THEATER !! SUBZERO TOO COLD...bring a sweater next time ...
Wonderful time at the theatre. I’ve taken advantage of the Monday night $5 movies. A good Senior night activity. The last two movies they didn’t offer the full menu, only popcorn, chips and drinks. Not enough help I heard. The theater is kept clean although I didn’t use the restrooms. Seating is comfortable and adequate parking.
We enjoyed our time there! Employees are very sweet and kind, the place is clean. They have massive screens very clear vision, there auditoriums are big and chairs are comfortable. However outside light Letters sign needs reparing some of them weren't working.
This theater was state of the art when it opened 19 years ago but it hasn't been updated since then. The ticket and concession prices have went up tremendously in the last year. The new rewards program isn't even half as good as the old program. They also don't offer matinee prices any time of the week. The signs at that show what movie is showing in that theater have been broken for years. The ticket kiosks only work half the time. A good many of the seats are covered with trash bags because they are broken and a third of the other seats are broken but not covered up. I would rather drive to Birmingham to see a movie at any of their theaters than stay in town and go toy local one. I have seen hundreds of movies here and use to enjoy my time here but the quality of the experience has really went down in the past several years.
I wish I could give this a better review but we purchased D-box seats and we walk into the movie and our seats are taken and we paid a total of $50, when we looked on the website none of the seats were taken in the D-box area. We walk in and all of the seats were taken. I am very disappointed that no one was checking tickets at the door of the movie.
Good clean movie theater. Only issue was they said it would take 30 minutes to prepare a hot dog, which is on the menu. Bought a bottle of water and nothing else.
Dillon, a gentleman selling the tickets before you get in the theater, is an absolute delight! I love how he takes the time to interact on a personal level with every person the movie Super Mario Bros my partner and I watched was AMAZING, and the help we got at the snack stand was also great. Kala was also a phenomenal human by helping us get to our reserved seats since it was hard for us to find them in the theater due to the lack of light
Went to see the Barbie movie here. This theater needs serious updating. The seats are old and have lost their cushioning. I mean they are almost 20 years old. They squeak. Everything is sticky My friend’s seat was wet. Just nasty.
Saw Guardians of the Galaxy in IMAX here. It started at 10pm and ended at 1am. Long movie. The only of part of the experience was that there didn't seen to be any staff left in the building when we walked out. Floors were really sticky/ slimy. Could use a good cleaning. My seat cushion was running thin and the seat might be on the way out in general. But over all the experience was about what you expect of a typical cinema.
