Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant

This place is reasonably priced and provides good food. The people are friendly and they prepare your order quickly. They also have some unique dishes.. their fried donuts are fantastic, tasty without too much sugar. Their strips of steak on a stick are my favorite, tender marinated with a tasty special sauce.

By far the best Chinese food in Poquoson. This is your typical no frills Chinese restaurant, not really a place to sit down but great for some reasonably priced takeout. I'm pretty set in my menu selections, so I recommend the fried rice and lo mein. I especially love the chicken fried rice, it's just fantastic. Overall, a good joint with good flavor and value.

Been coming here for years. Tonight's food was nothing short of the worst I've ever had. Fried rice had no taste or seasoning whatsoever. The 'chicken' was so questionable looking I didn't even dare eat it. The egg rolls weren't overdone, they were incinerated. Not coming back anymore...sorry.

Delivery is available, food is good. I feel they don't understand what I want sometimes. I love beef and broccoli with fried rice. But when I ask for extra sauce in my beef and broccoli I never get it. I don't know if they understand me or not. Or the just don't care. The food is good but the service is questionable.

Best beef lo mean I've had so far, egg rolls and crab Rangoon were eh. DoorDash had everything arriving piping hot, though!

This was my FIRST AND LAST time ordering from here!! If I could give them 0 stars I would. Don't bother looking up the menu online and using that to order from. They will tell you that they don't have a menu online.....but not before taking your "order" and making only half of it. Then when you call to ask them about it they want to blame the person who answered the phone who hardly speaks English!! Doesn't see that there is a problem and hangs up on customers! Just moved to Poquoson this weekend and found my first bad place!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

I order here very often, and it's rare to be disappointed! I tend to judge a Chinese Takeout place by their Beef and Broccoli, Eddgrop Soup, General Tso's, House Special Mai Fun and their Sweet and Sour Chicken. Thus their 4/5 rating, as their Sweet and Sour Chicken is a little lacking, I'm afraid, but the rest of their menu is pretty good, and easily satisfies a craving when I'm in a pinch. Employees are polite and helpful in explaining menu items and sizes, and I have never had an issue with my food being under or overcooked.

Horrible. Ordered off DoorDash. This is what my girlfriend and I got and the respective ratings we give it: 1. sesame chicken - 5/10 2. Fried rice - 5/10 3. Fried dumplings - 6/10 4. Vegetable chow mein - 0/10 we never got this one, instead we got some random pack of mixed vegetables and no chow mein noodles in it. 5. Spring rolls: 2/10 6. White rice with combination dinner is the smallest amount of white rice IVE EVER RECEIVED WITH A PLATE. 7. Fortune cookie - 10/10 very crispy So all in all, if you’re thinking about trying this place over your usual just for “fun”, don’t. Just stick to what you know.
