HopeBUILDERS exists to help our neighbors in Kansas City live in Safety, Comfort and Dignity. By providing homeowners with accessibility modifications and home repairs, our goal is to to give them the ability to stay in their homes longer.
As of 2015, more than 10 percent of all people living in the Kansas City region have some type of disability. For those over the age of 65, that rate jumps to 35 percent. While the degrees of disability vary, for many of those individuals who live in our communities, disability equals being a prisoner in his or her home.
HopeBUILDER’s isn’t about bricks and mortar, hammers and nails, or construction skills; it’s about people – people helping people. This mission drives everything we do, ensuring those in need, those right in our own back yards, are not forgotten.
