I had the pleasure of dining at Ruchi, an Indian restaurant located in Overland Park, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The restaurant's popularity is well-deserved, as it offers a delightful array of authentic North and South Indian cuisine. One aspect that sets Ruchi apart from other establishments is their commitment to crafting everything in-house, made with love by family members. This dedication to creating their ingredients from scratch adds a unique touch to each dish, showcasing the care and passion behind the food. Moreover, the ambiance of Ruchi is inviting, providing a warm and welcoming setting for a memorable dining experience. In conclusion, Ruchi is a true gem for Indian food enthusiasts in Overland Park. With its authentic flavors, homemade ingredients, and family-driven approach, it offers a dining experience that is both gratifying and heartwarming. I highly recommend giving Ruchi a try to savor the delectable delights of North and South Indian cuisine.
I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a culinary journey at "Ruchi indian cuisine," and it was a delightful experience that left a lasting impression. Nestled in a charming corner of the city, the restaurant exuded an inviting ambiance with its warm lighting, rustic decor, and a touch of modern elegance. **Ambiance and Decor:** ruchi indian cuisine ambiance was both cozy and sophisticated, striking a perfect balance that made it suitable for an intimate dinner or a casual gathering. The dim lighting added a touch of romance, while the thoughtful decor elements created a sense of comfort and familiarity. **Service:** The service at ruchi indian cuisine was commendable. The staff members were courteous and well-trained, making us feel welcomed from the moment we entered. Our server was attentive and offered detailed explanations of the dishes, displaying a genuine passion for the culinary delights the restaurant had to offer. **Cuisine:** ruchi indian cuisine menu was an exploration of diverse flavors, with a focus on using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. The chef's dedication to quality and creativity was evident in each dish, which were thoughtfully crafted to tantalize the taste buds. **Appetizers:** To begin our culinary journey, we tried the roasted cauliflower and quinoa salad. The combination of textures and flavors was delightful, with the nutty quinoa complementing the tender cauliflower, all brought together by a tangy vinaigrette. We also savored the crispy shrimp tempura, which was perfectly fried and accompanied by a delectable dipping sauce. **Main Courses:** For the main course, I opted for the pan-seared sea bass served with a lemon butter sauce. The fish was cooked to perfection, flaky and moist, with the sauce adding a burst of citrusy goodness. My dining companion chose the herb-marinated grilled chicken, which was succulent and seasoned just right. **Vegetarian Options:** ruchi indian cuisine caters excellently to vegetarians, offering a variety of plant-based dishes that do not compromise on taste. The grilled vegetable platter was a medley of vibrant veggies, drizzled with a balsamic glaze, and it was a true delight. **Beverages:** ruchi indian cuisine boasts an impressive array of handcrafted cocktails and an extensive wine list. We tried a couple of the restaurant's signature cocktails, and they were expertly mixed, adding a delightful twist to our dining experience.
I wish I had read the reviews prior to coming. I wanted to try something new, but regret coming here. The buffet is horrible, it’s over priced and please do not waste your time on the tea. It was nothing but water. I’m disappointedFood: 1/5
recently had the pleasure of dining at "Ruchi restaurant," and I must say it was an exceptional culinary experience. From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the warm and welcoming ambiance. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles, and their attentiveness throughout the evening was remarkable. The menu was a delightful celebration of flavors, and each dish was a work of art. Gastronomic Delights truly lived up to its name, as every plate was a masterful blend of tastes and textures. The chef's creativity shone through the carefully curated dishes, and the presentation was nothing short of spectacular. Whether you're a meat lover, a seafood enthusiast, or a vegetarian, there were plenty of options to cater to everyone's palate. The appetizers were a perfect start to the culinary journey. The crispy calamari was tender and accompanied by a zesty dipping sauce that added an exciting twist to the dish. The grilled asparagus wrapped in prosciutto was a delightful combination of flavors that left us wanting more.
Been coming here for over 15 years since I was a teenager. There is nothing, NOTHING like a meal here. The food is rich with not only flavor, but love. It sounds cheesy but this food tastes like someone loves making it. The owners are always generous and kind. It is a great comfort to me when I visit family and we go here. Some of the best dosa around. Their butter chicken is the best blend. Any of their roasted meats are so wonderfully marinated and cooked. Can't ask for more! Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options.
I have ordered chicken and goat biryani and I am really disappointed because I am getting lots of bones and no meat. I have requested to have less bones because of recent dental work. Not worth the price since I am not getting any meat.
We loved this place so much! The food was amazing and the service was awesome! I cannot wait to go back Vegetarian options: So many yummy options for vegetarians!
As soon as we arrived, there was chaos. Nobody seemed to know what was going on or who was supposed to do what. We were finally seated where we proceeded to stay for about 10 to 15 minutes before a waiter even stopped by to take our drink orders. As we were ordering, the waiter seemed annoyed that we didn't know exactly what we wanted or that we "didn't order fast enough". Thoguh this may be due to the fact that my family looks Indian, this is still unnaceptable. As we were halfway through ordering, the waiter seemed to get very upset and just left the table. No warning. He proceeded to walk around us and serve other tables directly next to us. Another 15 minutes elapsed before he came back and finished our orders. Now the food, we ordered two appetizers. Samosa, and Vade, the Samosa was very flavourful and I would recommend it. The Vade was sort of like a hush puppy just with Indian spices. We also ordered Garlic and Plain Naan. The Garlic Naan was very good but is very Garlic flavored so keep that in mind. The Plain Naan was just greasy. We also ordered three main dishes. Chicken Tikka, Lamb Biryanni, and panner curry. The Chicken Tikka was terrible, it had no flavor at all, dont know how you can mess up curried chicken? The Lamb Biryanni was very spicy and had a great flavor. I did not have any Panner but was told it was good as well. The atmosphere was nice, however it could've been great if there was not lingering smoke from all of the hot dishes they were brining out. There were times where it was so thick the whole table was coughing. Overall, the food was okay, the service is terrible and the atmosphere is fine. Would not recommend, there are so many other good Indian Cuisene options in the Greater KC area and even the Overland Park area.
One of the best tasting Indian currys I've had!!! The aesthetic of the food is also beautiful and the service was great. Highly recommend Will come backFood: 5/5
