My experience with Horn Lake has been eventful throughout the years and consideration as to why I keep running in and out of that place but I will say the ladies who work in the clerk's office are wonderful they're very nice it's clean it's cordial the officers for the ones that I do know they're amazing they are there to help and I know that for a fact because they always helped me whether I was right or wrong.... Even though I'm trying to right my wrongs I'm grateful and blessed for the opportunity that y'all are working with me and giving me that opportunity thank you... My last appearance for my payment it was also my daughter's 15th birthday and with y'all having worked with me through everything I was given the opportunity to be able to spend that day with her so again thank you
My experience was very gratifying for me... I've come along ways considering where I come from in life... And everytime I go to pay on my account the staff is always so amazing, nice, patient and that means alot to me... And just that little bit of kindness makes me want to come in and see y'all... Thank you for the opportunity you've given me... See y'all in February
I have never had to visit City Hall for anything other than to pay for utilities, and or to run into the police department to ask a question. The people are friendly, the facilities are clean. The court officers are polite.
This place is such a joke. I tried to pay my utility payment online today only to be told that it was shut off by the city hall. So I go up to City Hall to pay only to get ransacked by the front desk lady, who told me they shut it off today so they can add late fees. So after they ran my card. She tells me it was rejected. I look online on my banking information and there is no way it should have been rejected. So then I had to pay with all the cash that I had in my pocket. After I said I'm so tired of this town the woman says you're tired of this town because of a credit card! You know you don't have to wait until the 15th to pay your bill. Is what she says next. Like I'm some kind of idiot. I say yeah well in my situation I had to due to my budget. Then she goes off again on me to tell me we're all in the same boat. Seeing the ring on her finger I automatically know she's not in the same boat. Every single time I have gone up there some person has to be the rudest person ever. I always go in with a smile on my fave and walk out frustrated. But hey, I only pay my taxes and contribute to their pay. If I could give 0 stars I would. As soon as my lease is up I am gone. Its sad when I feel safer and more at home in memphis than I do here. . update: a week later I saw a group of people shooting heroin at the gas station, so I call it in. I literally LITERALLY was told "well what do you want us to do?" ARE YOU SERIOUS ! SO I GUESS ITS OK TO DO HEROIN 200 FT FROM A MIDDLE SCHOOL BECAUSE OF THE LAZINESS OF THE DISPATCH . WHATa waste of air. This branch of government needs to be passivated .
Horribly confusing traffic patterns! The city planners need some common sense! An exit is hardscaped for 1 right turn lane & 2 left turn lanes. It has the exact opposite directional arrows. I have a feeling alot of people have been ticketed there. Medians to trap out of towners into turn lanes should put this town on every tourist's avoid list.
I pay so much for water I can't drink...have to buy water to cook and drink...yet water bill goes up every month, even though I only wash dishes, laundry, and no bathssoak in nasty water?!?no thanks short showers only, water is so gross.... people who work there behind counters are okay, but some city office holders...well let's just say I love my city but I'm very disappointed in some of our elected and appointed officials who should do the right thing for our community but don't...so sad....
Horn lake city hall is not good for court or anything they sit there on there phones, don't call people name until an hour since they been there. On top of that they yell at people when they asking a question and then you have a person just laying back in her sit while she could be helping...it's just horrible
After numerous calls to Planning & Development they never answer phone or return calls. Another friend is having same problems. Maybe it's time for a change.
No air the day I went,sat 5 hours for a parking ticket.
