Horrock's

Absolutely loved this place! Was quite the spot to stop for all your garden needs. Many, many different options inside and out. Plenty of things to choose from. Also food inside. I particularly loved the soup bar! Salad bar looked great. Fresh produce. Canned veggies and fruit. And lots of it. Lol Outside bar looked enjoyable. Tons of beer to choose from. The lovely seating outside next to pond was beautiful!

Every time I visit Lansing, I have to stop at Horrocks! They have so many great local, organic and world-wide goods. The flags are a nice touch and a great representation of being culturally inclusive! I picked up their pizza about a 25 minute wait and it was amazing! We ordered the supreme pizza, cheese bread, and buffalo chicken pizza. The staff was very kind. We ate just outside of the beer garden by a mini fire near the pond. The weather was perfect outside, even during the Fall season. There was live music 90’s be-kind-rewind in the beer garden which we could still hear while being outside! Inside, I grabbed some fresh stems of eucalyptus to put in my bathroom $1 per stem, Michigan Mustard, and some Terry’s chocolate oranges. I like the variety of products they sell - you really could stop here for most household, food & drink, and Michigan themed the state, not the team items. Great plant selection too during the off-season. I definitely recommend visiting Horrocks beer garden and shopping center!

First time here today and this place is amazing! Fresh meat and an abundance of produce. Cut flowers and so many plants for home and garden. Fresh choices in the deli, plus sushi! Pizza, gelato, gourmet popcorn and chocolates, fresh roasted coffee, bulk spices, teas and oils. Heaven for a foodie like me!

What a lively farmers market! From fruits and vegetables, to alcohol, to dog food, this is the place to buy everything you need. I should also mention the impressive Sake variety they have here. The variety here is more than all LCBO Sake in Canada combined. You'll find Sake you will never find in Canada. A vast beer collection too. I recommend The Left Hand Nitro Milk Stout if you like dark beer.

I had only ever been to the Horrocks in Lansing and was pleasantly surprised to see that the store's quality in cleanliness and efficiency are standard at all locations! The coffee wall is always a great feature and if anyone finds out we're going they ask us to pick up some coffee for them. It was a really great experience!

So much to see-not your normal farm market. Large delection of fresh desserts, candy, cheese, fresh soup and salad bars. They have a walk in dairy cooler, floral, beer and wine samples. Pack your patience, as it has been crowded on each of my visits. Some of the aisles are narrow and difficult to navigate 2 shopping carts passing each other.

This place is great. Highly recommended. Prices are a bit high but it feels like it is mostly due to inflation. I would recommend doing here anytime you are traveling on I 96 through the Lansing area.

I am never disappointed with the floral dept. for sure! I try to use them for deliveries whenever it's a local occasion. They are friendly, helpful, and always rise to my wants! The flowers are fresh and beautiful! They have gone above and beyond for delivery times I've needed. An absurd variety of fresh food and other grocery staples is just the beginning. Huge greenhouse and garden center, bulk candy and gelato, coffee/tea, oil/vinegar, cheese, prepared foods, beer/wine available by the glass in store. This place has it all. Just off the freeway so the location is convenient but it won’t be a quick stop if you want to explore all they have to offer. I just wish there was one nearby.

We went for the Chipotle Olive Oil but the bin was just about empty. We squeezed out 1 bottle. Then discovered the Tuscan Olive Oil was delicious and bought 3 of those. Of course we traveled around the store with a draft beer in our cart. We didn't buy any sweet potatoes but apparently they are a BIG thing there. Look at the pile of them. Same with cheese. I never saw a wheel of cheese so large anywhere so of course I had to take a picture of that. We did buy the Buddha Hand's. The exact one you see in the middle of the picture is now in my kitchen just waiting for me to get creative. We also left with 2 pizzas. Kinda expensive but the meat lovers pizza was loaded with meat. The pickle pizza not so much. Could have used more pickles. But maybe that's me. I love pickles and also had picked up some fresh horseradish pickles so I could have topped my pizza off with more. Overall I said about 3 times as we browsed around: "I love this place!" On the way home we made a plan to come back when the outside picnic area and beer garden is open and there are plants to buy because it's about 80 miles from where we live. This place is a treat for anyone who is alive and likes to eat and find things they can't find other places and pick up staples also.
