Hot Topic Carolina Place

They've gotten tons of really cute merchandise in this store; it's literally everywhere. They also keep up to date with popular shows and movies really well; pretty much every time I've gone in, they've had new stuff to check out.

It's a Hot Topic. It's dark, cramped, and staffed by sweet young people. It's all ridiculously pricey, but you're paying for the licensing...which you knew when you went to Hot Topic. It was fine.

Hi! I'm updating my review from July of 2022 I gave 5 Happily, same score of 5s!! Today, my husband&I had to go into the mall, so we decided to stop in again as we can't ever pass up a chance to go into Hot Topics! HUGE fans of Hot Topics for 25+ years, NEVER EVER disappointed, today was extremely exceptional! A HUGE koRn fan, avid funko pop collectors, we looked, to our amazement found 2 rare "" Our sales woman Dorrie&a Silk "pop"! So extremely grateful to Dorrie for taking care of us from the moment we walked in until we left. Couldn't of been more BLESSED than we were today! **An added bonus, is we've got our Dr Strange pop ordered as well, thanks to Dorrie going above and beyond for us today& Hot Topics!**

Everytime we go in there the workers are kind and polite and go above and beyond and my little daughter loves going there to shop and the workers make her smile with how nice they are to her

Liked the store crazy for teen like I expected from years past found some nice old school bad tee-shirt Korn. Slipknot. Rage,Floyd, zeppelin, cool jewelry for teens to 28s. But me being 46 not for me I went to look for a Dr Strange glow in the dark dead funko pop but didn't get it hot topics exclusively released but they were out. Had a good time nonetheless and reliving my youth was fun pleasant trip. Clean and organized all close easy to locate. Rock on topics like the one I used to use for close.‍

Nice selection of jewelry. Only 4 stars because they don't carry some things that I would like to buy that they use to.

My daughter's first time in store...place was well stocked and helpful staff

Been in my emo phase for a decade now. Also appreciate that no employe judges when I try to buy women's clothing as a man, if anything they are helpful and encouraging which really boots my confidence

Horrible Customer Service!!! My daughter and her mom shopped at this location on Thursday 10/14. It was my daughter’s birthday. They said the employees were rude and not friendly. They did not greet them or talk to them the entire time they were there. They felt unwanted and uncomfortable. Just rude for no reason. I said take everything back and get a refund. Never patronize an establishment that doesn’t want you there. Hot Topic should train employees to treat all customers nice and with respect. Don’t shop here go to North Lake where they are nice and welcoming.

It's the same as it's always been. Cramped, loud, and cool as heck.
