“I will always forgive you—but your teeth won’t…”

Description

Welcome to the practice of Dr. Howard Abrahams. As a general dentist, my staff and I are primary dental care providers for patients of all ages.

We start with a comprehensive diagnosis and treatment options to meet your oral health needs. Our services include: cleaning and check-ups, periodontal and tissue management, bleaching, composite (tooth colored) fillings, crowns, bridges, porcelain veneers, root canal therapy, simple tooth extractions and sealants for children.

Our mission is to establish a long term partnership with our family of patients, and help them to obtain and maintain ideal oral health. This is accomplished with clear communication, understanding, kindness and respect towards all patients with a great attention to details. We take our time explaining all options available, so you can choose the appropriate treatment that is best for you.

We do our best to stay on time, because we understand how valuable your time is to you. This is provided in a very comfortable setting with free parking. We also offer 24 hour "on call” care for our patients of record.

We accept most dental insurance, including many PPO plans. We will take the assignment of benefits to minimize your out-of-pocket expenses while we work to maximize your dental benefits reimbursement.

“Don’t prolong needed dental care, because the lack of dentistry can become very costly.”

I spoke with the intake reception Vanessa was poor relative to attention span short with new a potential new client. Wasn’t willing to listen to both my wife and I dental needs. We both are single citizens with 100% dental insurance with financial limits. We asked a relative general question as potentially new patients. We check with our insurance in advance with known specific dental codes to be submitted with a pre-authorization so everyone involved would know the financial responsibility of our diagnosed. Before becoming a new patient the following is unavoidable: Oral evaluation Single Radiographic Images 4 Bit-wings Radiographic Images Panoramic Radiographic Images Simple question how much is the total amount regardless of the insurance? Can’t tell us unless we come in to the dental office. The more questions we had the reception say “ I can’t be on the phone all day” shows they don’t care about our considers. What your experience have been with the thoughts with those who insurance typically pay 100% with the new patient codes. Because although they have an agreement with our insurance they may not pay the full total amount because of the dental office charges to high beside the policy have limits. Most important we have a limited budget amount out of pocket if the dental office prices are beyond insurance limits. The doctor spends thousands and thousands of dollars for education, equipment, taxes, over head and more have chosen a very poor reception in the introduction, it says a lot about the dentist. I am sure this dentist have been successful historically, not with us. I would recommend a dentist who understand the importance of choosing his representatives that would make a great introduction of himself. If you start out not pleasing you will end up not pleasing.
Today was my first day in his office. I haven't been to a dentist in about 4-5 years. But I just have to say, I was so impressed, I had to take the time to give him a wonderful review. The kindest person you will ever meet. He explains everything he does during your visit. He was very insightful when it came to my coverage and only did what was in the limits of my coverage so that I didn't have to pay any extra money out of my pocket. However, if it's something that you require that your insurance doesn't fully cover, he will let you know and let you make the decision of whether or not you want to deal with the extra costs. He is a man of integrity and is more concerned about your oral health than just trying to make money. God bless him!!!
Dr. Abrahams is a wonderful, gentle, talented dentist. He goes out of his way to make sure his patients are comfortable and pain free. He makes you feel relaxed and is always very clear about his charges. I don't understand a previous review that said his bill was a surprise. Dr. Abrahams always makes a clear treatment plan and goes over it with the patient in advance. His office will also submit a bill in advance to the insurance company to get a pre-authorization of charges so that the patient knows exactly what their responsibility is before the work is done. He is very conservative in his treatment and will use the least expensive procedure to fix a problem when he can. I have been a patient of his since around 1979. I was terrified of dentists when I finally dragged myself into his office, after enduring weeks of throbbing pain. I could not believe how pain-free the appointment was. I never felt the injection or any pain during the procedure. I cannot recommend him highly enough!
I have been with Dr Abrahams since 1986 30 years when I was referred to him by a friend. He has been the best Dentist through all of these years even when my insurance did not cover his fees. He always worked out a payment plan for me. I was afraid of ALL Dentist until I met him. I guess what sold me was when he first stuck me with a needle, it did not hurt. Been there since, and it still does not hurt. He did it ALL. Cleaning, crowns, root canals, bridges and fillings. You should see my teeth. My insurance has changed and I am no longer covered, but I will still retain his service for cleaning my teeth. He has always maintained a great staff where everybody is always pleasant and very professional. We always talk about how long I have been coming to his office. I'm going to hate it when he retires.
Definitely a positive dental experience all around. Dr. Abrahams is not looking to have you spend excess money as my previous dentist Dr. Bhoompalli. He seems very genuine and to have incredible morals and ethics which is not a common trait in doctors anymore. I was surprised to hear that what my previous dentist was calling a cavity was in fact not. Dr. Abrahams performed the dental cleaning himself, I gave him a heads up about my gum sensitivity and he was very mindful of that during my cleaning. This is the dentist I've been looking for, for years and I'm soo grateful to have found him. I will definitely be returning
The guy doesn't talk clear. He tells you how much a treatment cost but that's not all. He starts the treatment, then he might end doing something else and at the end you'll receive a bill with extra charges. He might have good hands but you might start with a $1000 treatment and you will receive a $2000 bill.
Wonderful man and a great Dentist that what's counts
