Sound is good, picture is good, popcorn is good. Place has seen better days. My guess is bathrooms are cleaned once a week and we went on the 7th day. Do yourself a favor and wait until you get home to go. Broken seats everywhere, sit behind them and no tall people will block your view. Definitely worth the $5 on Tuesdays
Dirty, outdated and broken. Worth the trip to Albany or Kingston to get clean seating and upgraded amenities. Needs fixing asap. Entry floor tiles are missing and broken, moody atmosphere, stale popcorn, so many broken seats, filthy all over floor, seats, 1980 bathrooms might have new ownership over last few years but they obviously never visit. Cracks are full of food debris, popcorn is stale and sitting for what seemed like hours, doors were all closed and confusing, ancient entertainment machines, sound and screening. Just not worth shopping local at this facility. Kingston is clean clean clean!!!, upgraded seating, good vending options and overall positive atmosphere.
Saw Nope here. Good movie but theater has some rough spots. The overhead lights actually stay on during the movie, which is wild. Picture didn’t fill the frame and was not centered relative to the seats. Audio was kind of muffled and low, even sitting towards the front. Seems like most of these issues would be super easy to fix
Watched Avatar 3 D.. the color was not there. All the trailers I watched had a lot of color but not at the theater
Nice staff. Good ticket prices. Comfortable seats. Sound quality a bit low, but overall good.
Great movie experience and very friendly staff
I had a pretty good time here- especially for a first time experience for being in a movie theater. The restroom at least the female one wasn't clean which was quite gross but the men's room was really clean according to my brother. The sound and quality of the movie was spot on and the staff was very nice. There's also a good snack bar; having a selection of drinks, candy, and fresh popped corn. Also, the chairs were pretty comfy too and the overall atmosphere was nice. I will definitely go here again.
First time going to this theater and I would have to say ....we will go again. I must agree with some of the reviews about the lights not going completely out during the movie ....not a deal breaker....but would be MUCH better if it did go completely dark during the featured film. We attended a matinee for our first visit and Seven bucks is reasonable for a daytime showing. We did not purchase anything from the snack bar, although did take the time to look it over and check pricing. The pricing and selection was in line with most Movie Houses, which as everyone knows means paying many many times over what you'd pay in the supermarket for the exact same thing. This is where they really make their money. We found the theater to be clean and orderly with no foul smells detected. Their were two attentive ladies behind the snack bar with apparently one handling tickets and the other dealing with snack bar business. I will ask about the lighting when next we go and see if that can be addressed. And to be sure.....we will go again.
The location is in an older shopping center, it looks dingy and dirty from the outside, and inside it is very minimally decorated. The staff is usually friendly, the popcorn is always fresh and buttered to your liking, and the prices are lower than what you'd expect from a movie theater concessions stand. The seats in the theaters are kind of terrible, squeaky, old and dirty. The speakers crackle if the movie has a loud scene, there are cobwebs that dangle in front of some of the projectors, so you get that shadow up on the top of the movie screen, which is mildly irritating if you happen to notice it before the movie starts. The wallpaper is peeling in some of the rooms, but the bathroom has always been kept clean on my visits. The ticket prices are very low though, so it's not a bad place to see a movie in Hudson.
Wish I never went to this place! It was close by and didnt feel like driving to a real theater. The place is dirty as bleep, stained chairs, backs missing off them, musty smelling, stains in the ceiling tiles, carpet ripped . The only adult working there is not so friendly and the kids under her are scared of her. The bathrooms should of been called an outhouse. Nothing worked. But the popcorn was good...the trash can liked it
