We were just in Vietnam a few months ago, and this place made us feel like we were back. The service was as expected. Not very friendly but very functional and prompt. The food was okay. The crispy spring roll that came with my Bun tasted like it was deep-fried in old oil. Other than that, everything else was pretty good.Food: 3/5
Checked out a friend's favorite pho place. The pho was thinner than usual but the beef soup was good. Wished they had a beef combo with tripe and beef balls though. Service could definitely use some polish - had a bit of a hard time getting extra utensils. Heads up - they only accept CASH or e-transfers. Not exactly the most customer-friendly setup.
The food was absolutely amazing and I found myself licking the plate. Highly recommend the spring rolls and the shaky beef. The service is not attentive or friendly and the entire experience is directed towards the food. Do no expect special treatment or niceties, this is about authenticity. Most people are in 5 minutes and then left soon after. Still great food but I recommend take out instead and enjoy it in the comfort of your own home.
Food was excellent. 2nd time there. Same dish...see pic. Number 103 on the menu. Prices are good and selection is excellent. Service was very good and the food came out very quickly. Very highly recommend.Food: 5/5
CASH ONLY! Some of the best Vietnamese food in NoVa! Prices are a little higher than they used to be but the taste is excellent, probably the best in the Eden Center.Food: 5/5
Can’t get more authentic than this place. Came in on a Sunday, and the place was semi packed. We order, food came out and it tasted amazing. I miss outings like this. We order a flounder-whole-fried. Soup. And shaken beef. By the time we left, there was a line to get in. Would eat here again, customer service was great, food was amazing, environment was perfect.
Excellent Vietnamese fare. The quail was excellent we also had great pho, lotus salad and boba.Food: 5/5
The food is ok. The great thing is the portion from the dish which is huge. The reason I gave only 3 stars is that the restaurant doesn’t inform us about the payment is cash only while I bring out the card to pay. I feel it’s extremely inconvenient especially for people who only use card like me so please note that.
Great food. Cash only - no credit card. Food is a little on the pricier side. But the Bun Bo Hue I ordered was very delicious.Food: 5/5
My friend took me to Eden Center and it was quite a treat, and our rich tour centered around a delicious meal here. We started with the fried rolls, they were perfectly crisp, with a succulent filing, and went well with fish sauce-based dipping sauce. We enjoyed a trip of mains: A rice wrap dish called Banh Hoi Nem Nuong where you dip the rice wrap briefly in warm water and then fill with a soft, woven shredded noodle and meat and again ideally dip in either the peanut sauce or the fish sauce. Really solid sausage in the one we tried. A fried noodle dish named Mi Xao Gion where the noodles are dried and fried crisp, presenting like raw ramen noodles and topped with a thick curry sauce and lots of veggies, meat, and seafood. Very tasty as well. Last and best was the epic fried crepe dish called Banh Xeo filled with sprouts and seafood. The flavor of the crepe alone was enough, and the filling was a welcome accent. Service was blazingly fast, they may have been laser printing the food in the back, I'm not sure. It's a no frills place, cash only close at 8pm during the week. And while they will provide anything you need an additional utensil, sauce, etc, they're not holding your hand and checking on you every second. Looking forward to returning and enjoying more items in the future.
