Our mission is to ensure that everyone everywhere has access to the mental health care and trauma recovery resources they need, the care they deserve.
I grew up in a family in which everyone was either an active duty service member or a veteran. Because of this, I know firsthand the impact untreated PTSD has on soldiers and their families. “The living room is in the war, and the war is in the living room,” as they say.
While trying to reconcile my own experiences as a child and adolescent, and because of my lifelong dedication to supporting trauma survivors of all kinds, I’ve learned that owning your story, finding healing, and maintaining a close connection with your wellness team are all vital components for a successful recovery from PTSD.
We know the road to healing is not an easy one, but through commitment and community, anyone can rewrite their story for good. No matter where you are, or what your past includes, you can live a full life. Healing is possible. That’s what we believe, and that’s why we are here.
