IHA Brighton Family Care is a group practice dedicated to providing quality medical care to our patients and life-long care for all of your family. From your newborn to your most senior members - the whole family can receive personal, quality care from our licensed, board-certified family physicians. Our goals are to find illness early, following both national and local guidelines for screening, use office resources and our extensive health care network to provide the highest quality diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for our patients, and exercise belief in preventive health by educating you about healthy lifestyles, immunization, and maintaining well-being.

IHA Brighton Family Care has been designated a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH). PCMH patients and their family (when appropriate) establish a partnership with their practitioners to ensure they have the support needed to make decisions and participate in their own health care.

I wish there was an option for 0 stars. My aunt needed a document filled out for the SOS. when we picked it up the first time they said they filled it out, gave it back, and nothing was filled out. After we told them what sections were needed filling. We came back the day of the appointment at the SOS to ask the doc to fill it out and they said they were too busy even though we arrived right when they opened. The nurse was very disrespectful and said she was too busy and that she had to room patients even though the waiting room had one person there. We asked if another physician could fill the paperwork out and they said no one else was there even though we overheard how there was more than one physician there. We explained that my aunt could lose her job and insurance if we didn't have the papers filled out and the nurse said that it wasn't her problem and that we needed to reschedule our SOS apt. even though we couldn't/weren't allowed to reschedule the apt. We have had other issues with this office before.
I really like my doctor but the receptionist scheduled me a virtual appointment only to be told by the doctor I need to come for the appointment. I told the receptionist exactly what I needed and she scheduled it a month later knowing I was going to get told I needed to come in. She wasted my time, the doctors time, and her time. If she didn’t know she needs to be trained to not waste everyone’s time.
My experience making appointments are quick & easy, but I do agree with previous reviews in regards to receptionist being on their phones & waiting until they are done to be acknowledged- even when you make eye contact coming through the door. I have seen various providers at this location & would recommend seeing Dr. Pierzchala. Not only is she beyond pleasant most providers are at this location but her ability to actively listen, address concerns, & problem solve are unmatched!
Honestly I am very frustrated with the communication at this clinic. I scheduled my appointment online a month prior because I can only do weekends. I found availability for a Saturday and filled out every form to make things go more smoothly when I arrive to my appointment. I get a reminder call 2 days AND the day before and I confirmed them twice online. I put the location on my google maps the day of my appointment and google says they are closed. I call the front desk. No one answers. I called the call center and the woman was very kind and helped out the most that she could but she also could not contact them so she let me know that she wrote a note under my account that someone would give me a call by Monday to re-schedule me. I waited two days because I know people get busy but this is absolutely ridiculous. I am NOT going to beg for them to see me and I just dont understand how someone could remind me to go to an appointment that’s non-existant.
Been fast and freindly every time I've been here. No problems at all.
After standing at the window for 2 minutes while the lady behind the desk was playing candy crush and not wearing a mask. The lady finally recognized I was there, and asked me to put on a mask while she was not wearing one around her nose or mouth. I stated I am not wearing a mask, and they refused my service. It's one thing if she was actually wearing the mask. But to refuse me service for something she was doing herself is silly. Should probably practice what you preach.
Have been waiting 3 days and counting for my rx to be sent to the right pharmacy. Whoever answered the phone when I called to inquire was clearly having a day.
Verified our appointment a day prior. Went to the family Care office on the second floor and up to the window, the person behind the counter didn't greet us or even make eye contact. Just told us to sign in. Checked us in and we sat there for 25 minutes before someone bothered to tell us they couldn't find us in the system. Turns out we were supposed to be in a different office and we're now late for the appointment. I mean, is it that hard to say good morning to someone?
Our child's doctor is great, but the office staff is very ornery. Then there is the billing. Never have I ever had such billing issues in my life. Almost every bill I get is not for months and months later, most of the time it has the wrong patient name at the top one of my other children instead of the child that actually received the treatment. The online MyChart is a joke, I've been trying to get all my kids on the same account and still haven't been able to do so after a year of trying. Update: We have a secondary insurance and have been trying to get them to bill the remainder of Child Birth to the secondary insurance for months and they said after they do it they will send a new bill regardless of whether or not it covers anything. Just received a collections notice in the mail. They never billed the secondary insurance and just sent the bill to collections. I would give them Negative 10 stars if I could.
I was having side effects of medication and wanted to switch to some other med. I was told it would take up to 72 hours before I get a response from Dr. Sutter's office. I have called everyday and 72 hours have come and gone. Still not a word.
