Il Lusso

I’ll keep it short. This place has so far been the only consistent place in Tallahassee when it comes to food quality. Their presentation is beautiful and their dishes are all so flavorful with no blandness. For those who are hesitant about going to this place due to the price, do not worry as I guarantee that you’ll get your money’s worth at a fine dining restaurant as long as you stray way from their steak menu. It is their ONLY menu that I’ve been left unsatisfied, and I’m a regular here enough to know that they constantly fine tune their staples, most likely with feedback from the hall which shows what mindset they have.

Food was delicious, and plated beautifully. Our server Eric was extremely knowledgeable and very fun to be around. The cocktails were so flavorful. The restaurant was clean and had lots of stunning natural light. We had an amazing time. Would definitely return.

I chose to celebrate my husband’s birthday with a more intimate dinner experience and Il Lusso was the perfect place to be. The food, the ambiance, the staff, even the sun setting in our window gave us an unforgettable night of fine dining. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and welcoming. One of the best places to enjoy delicious food and an impeccable atmosphere in Tallahassee. Thank you for taking good care of us.

Went for nephews Grad dinner so we grabbed a lot of starters. No one complained and the Misto Frito was really good. Sister and I tried Grouper Piccatta and agreed we would get it again. Our party of 8 was completely content. Service was noticeably good. Cheesecake dessert was a little small and the prices on everything were a little big. All in all a nice, pleasant evening. Parking: Free valet parking. Wheelchair accessibility: No problem

Chef Owen recommended the Wagyu Denver which was fantastic and Steven made the drinks for us which were phenomenal! Chelsea was our server and she was well informed and new how to pair our wine! Eli was also a great help as well!!

One of our favorite places to celebrate joyous occasions. Everything is top notch! The brussel sprouts are to die for. We get them every time.Food: 5/5

This was my first time trying authentic Italian cuisine, and it exceeded my expectations. The service was overall pleasant. The servers were charismatic and very knowledgeable of the entire menu. I decided to get the seafood mezzaluna and squid ink mafaldine. Both dishes were delicious. Cooked to perfection, and served aesthetically. I will definitely be returning. Had an amazing experience at Il Lusso! Our server, Christian, was phenomenal - he was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a wonderful dining experience. But what really stood out was the local knowledge and recommendations provided by Chelsea. She provided great insight into the Tallahassee area and recommended some must-do activities.

Service was awesome, our table was small and too close to the table next to us. The charred octopus was spot on delicious and the baked Alaskan dessert was very good. I ordered the N.Y. strip it was overcooked on the crust otherwise it was flavorful.Food: 4/5

Go for the Vermentino white wine. Pass on the octopus appetizer - it's over-salted. The staff was lovely. There are better options for fine dining in Tallahassee, like Lucilla o Savour. This review is unfortunately a reflection of the consistently obnoxious bro-ish, old-boy clientele seated at the bar, which is outside of Il Lusso's control but ultimately a reflection on the restaurant's energy and vibe.
