I came in for an annual to also talk about debilitating pain I've been having for 3 months. I mentioned it during check in and to the doctor and it was never mentioned. I left without having my issue even looked at or acknowledged.
Their online portal to make appointments does not work. You will need to call to make an appointment. I made mine online through the HCA patient portal, and they gave me one courtesy call and no email. I didn’t see their call, so I went in believing I had an appointment. The receptionist was quite impatient with me. I didn’t have the chance to even meet the doctor, but I would avoid this practice. Patients should not have the option to make appointments online if the appointment doesn’t register into the system in their office. Even if this is beyond the practice’s control, I would have appreciated another attempt to reach me, especially via email.
While the doctor had an emergency right after my exam which I totally understand, he was gone. While being seen, he mentioned let's chat after. I will see you in my office and then the emergency happened. I totally understand, however, what about a follow up phone call with my questions, what about a nurse talking to me and mentioning it to the doctor after the emergency? I was just left........ Sorry but even with emergency, his patients should have been handled with better care and not just "dropped". The intake person needs an attitude adjustment too - like she was doing me a favor by asking me questions! This visit was not great at all!
I am only 18 years old and I was trying to find a good birth control. I decided to go for an IUD. I had a one on one appointment with Doctor Isdith and whenever I would ask her questions she would roll her eyes, and she gave me kind of an uncomfortable feeling. I didn’t think much of it, and she told me to schedule when I want the insertion. When I went in for my next appointment to get the IUD the same doctor came in and I was sitting on the table. I then told her that this was something I’ve never done before and I’m nervous, she then stopped and said “You never got a full body exam before this appointment?” and I said no because her or the staff never told me anything about that. She then did some 2 minute tests, and I ended up paying for an appointment that I had no information about, in which I’m a college student with very little money and it’s difficult to pay $60 every time I go. Additionally, I received a bill in the mail and there was a doctors fee for the consultation for $63, which I was not told about this. Just because I had a 3 minute appointment, one on one with the doctor, I have to pay $123 in total to choose an IUD. The doctor was rude to me because I didn’t know that I needed a full body exam, and she made me feel super uncomfortable. Besides the doctor the staff were very nice. I’ve never went to an OBGYN, and my first experience at this place was not at all what I thought. I would expect for at least the doctor to be nice and respectful. I found another place, which does not have doctors fees when just choosing an IUD, and are much more nicer and more open, and this is what an OBGYN should portray themselves as.
I would give this place 10 stars instead of 5 . I’ve been going here since I was 21 years old , so roughly about 13 years. I love this place and the staff that works here in the Boynton location. The staff there are beyond wonderful and not to brag lol but I’m going to brag anyways about my doctor . Dr Emerick is one of the greatest , caring doctors out there . He’s like no other doctor out there that I ever met . He will go above and beyond to take care of his patients needs and concerns. I highly recommend this place to everyone who’s seeking a good doctor. Wonder place , good doctor My rating for here
I recently moved to Boynton Beach and I was highy impressed with the professionalism of both the staff and doctor. I also was highly impressed with the warmth of the visit. Going to a gynecologist is not a woman's thrill, but one has to do it. I felt very comfortable from the time of entry to the time of exit. I would definitely recommend this office highly. You will not be disappointed.
The staff at the Boynton office are terrific. The experience is aways pleasant. Dr Aqua is a top notch GYN. I have been going to him for many years and highly recommend him.
This is my first time ever writing a review but it is definitely some thing that I had to do, hoping that my story can help someone out there. I have spent over 18 years in severe pain with fibroids and endometriosis, I had three different surgeries from three different doctors to remove the fibroids and about six months to a year later they return worse then before. I never thought I get to see the day where I live pain free and I must say God has save my life by sending Dr. Keith A. Aqua as my Doctor, he has given me a new life and I will forever be grateful he was kind patient understanding knowledgeable and very gentle I have referred many many of my friends family to him. In 2021, I had A complete hysterectomy and left my ovaries with Dr. Aqua and I cannot emphasize enough from the beginning stage all the way till now he has taking this matter with such care and has performed an amazing job. Thank you for everything you have done. With such a beautiful staff special shout out to the Boynton Beach site.
I have been a patient with Women's Health and Body Institute for over 14 years, and have had nothing but wonderful experiences with their offices. They are excellent with confirming appointments, scheduling, and re-scheduling if necessary, and have an amazing track record of keeping their appointments at, or very close to your scheduled appointment. The office is always clean, the staff is very efficient, and Dr. Isdith is a very skilled, and knowledgable Gynecologist. I would highly recommend this office, and would find it very difficult to ever have to go elsewhere. Thank you to an amazing staff for always making me feel welcomed, and greeting me with a smile...
I have been trying to get ahold of the wellington location and the Boynton beach location. NONE OF THEM ANSWER THE PHONE. I literally cannot make an appointment with my doctor... & I use to have Dr.Isdith for my gynecologist. I highly don’t recommend her. I was always rushed & she didn’t seem to care much about my health. She was more worried about getting to the next patient. She paid very little to no attention to anything. I’ve asked her questions and wasn’t informative at all.... but then I switched to DR. Emeric & he is AMAZING. Great doctor and is very informative about my health. However, I’ve been trying to contact the doctors office and doesn’t seem to answer the phone and keeps me on hold.
