Failed to schedule my concealed weapons permit class on a date that wasn’t a holiday. Thus rescheduling me with one notice 2 1/2 months prior with bad information. Causing me to think it was today when in reality I already missed my appointment. Couldn’t be more dissatisfied and upset with the way reception handled me. No phone call the day of to ask if I maybe had bad information or anything just 3 months of time waiting wasted all to never get the damn thing. I live 2 minutes away one phone call does a lot when you live on an island .
Was involved in an accident where a woman provided old insurance information turns out she didn't have insurance. Commander Warwick was not helpful, saying nothing can be filed after the fact even though providing false insurance is a crime. Complete joke of a police station. Better off praying to God than going to the police on Whidbey Island.
A hard review to write as I have mixed feelings on this . I strongly feel we have a few in the dept that should be Permoted some need to be demouted and some who should be Charged . An under staffed sheriff dept when an reg police dept with traffic detectives , and all the rest is neeeed in this urban bedroom community to big for the sheriff to handle making it difficult to get the coverage the detail and convictions needed to control the rift raft . Hats off to the deputy's who are over scheduled for sure .
