Labor and delivery the staff is great but being sent home even though I'm showing signs of back labor pains.. I thought it was hospital best interest in making sure not just baby was in distress but the mother as well.. I am a repeat c section I understand the whole liability but I thought it was patient choice for best medical choice not for the Drs to make them for you.. I also understand keep the baby in as long as possible but when a mother feels like the baby is ready to be born shouldn't the mother be able to decide. I already had two shots to stop my contractions which caused me more distress and literally still having very painful and bad pelvic pressure and pain. This supposed to be a schedule c section. Which means I can't have natural birth and she already in position to be natural which is causing cervical change and dilation. Like I said the staff are nice and try to keep me comfortable but I literally can barley walk the pain feels like my hips are burning and pressure is so bad I cry from the pain.. so this turning out to be the worse pregnancy experience ever..
I went into the ER today and I was treated with nothing but respect. They came in, diagnosed, treated me promptly and I was patched up and released. I don’t have names but 13 September about noon. Thank you all
Ridiculous. Had blood work drawn and they dont send me a bill for MONTHS. Went to go pay bill online- had to make an account but the site wouldn't let me. Tried multiple times, downloaded the app and it still didn't work. Finally I emailed them and even with an attached photo of the bill, I had to verify my identity TO PAY MY BILL! Absolutely ridiculous and incompetent.
I had surgery at JCMH with Dr Weese in March 2023 and I could not have ask for better care! The 4th floor staff was professional and kind! I had staff from all over the hospital come to my room and each of them preformed the job they were there to do but also ask if there was anything additional they could do for me while they were there. From Dr Weese to the the RN's, CNA's, lab, respiratory, dietary, & maintenance, I received excellent care!
Dr. Weese is just straight-up so amazing big time! Man when I had a bad kidney stone, he helped dissolve it like nothing, and the meds he prescribed me, works perfectly! I definitely recommend Dr. Weese!
As you may read about in other reviews.. people who delivered their babies here have had their epidural ripped out. I was one of those people and I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND DELIVERING YOUR BABY HERE. This was my first birth and I was stationed at Altus AFB. I have been traumatized from my experience ever since. The doctor that “delivered” my baby was a creep and argued with the nurses while I was pushing my son out. Don’t get me wrong the nurses were amazing and compassionate, but it seems to be a common thing where epidurals are ripped out because the way the nurses move you. They had to keep cracking smelling salts under my nose since I was in extreme pain and couldn’t keep my eyes open. I was also induced and did not get a break from the contractions whatsoever. My hospital bed was broke and very uncomfortable, I’m 5’10” and had to squat in the shower because of how low the shower head is with very little room. They need to update the hospital in every way you can think of and do a deep clean of the rooms because it was very clear the rooms have not been cleaned in a long time.
Very unempathethic and unprofessional emergency room staff. Would recommend even in a life or death emergency driving to another hospital. They are negligent and uncaring. On my dad's last stay, several doctors knew he was dying and didn't bother to tell us. We had to find out the day after they released him after his whole body swelled up from their care. I'm losing my daddy and these medical "professionals" are just treating us like we don't matter. They have a one guest per patient rule there in the ER and my mom wants to be with my dad, but she's deaf and a lot of stuff gets lost in translation. It was extremely frustrating because I wasn't there to ask questions and get answers for my parents. They didn't care about effectively communicating with us, they wouldn't budge at all. I feel so dehumanized from the whole experience. Last night the ER doctor was going to release him from the hospital naked, pain not under control, and not able to walk. I had to fight and cry to get him the care that he needed. Hospice has been invaluable in helping make sure he gets proper care. They were very kind and helped ease some of the frustrations. So bottom line, I personally would risk death to find a better hospital to look after me.
Worst er ever. I went here and nearly died from a heart attack. they used needles and poked 200 times. not a hyperbole. A week later I had to go back and then I had the worst experience so I thought. 2 years later I came in with a gun shot in my leg. I waited 2 days to get seen. Don't go
Dr. Williamson is the BEST! I am so glad my sister had her on her team! Tara case manager? was GREAT and extremely hepful in such a stressful situation. Thank you both so much for helping take care of my sister! I am forever grateful.
Hey this morning i went up to jcmh for my doctors appointment and when i went to go check in, i had this really rude and disrespectful receptionist and she slammed the window in my face.
