My kids love going to the Library. The staff is always helpful and the kids always have different things to do. We all get books when we go.
Update after a year, still the best library around! 4-2-2023. I've been to several around town and so far this place is the best. The staff makes the dofference! Keep up the good work. This is the original review : I been coming here with my kids for the past year. It's always a wonderful experience. Lots of great librarians to help with all our needs and also a lot of great activities for kids to keep the wanting more. From the little readers for toddlers to the STEM activities for older children. update Jan 2023: stem program is gone, but they now have a arts / craft for toddlers class. We make a trip 3 times a week. Great place for everyone in the family. Update June 2023. Still an exceptional place to get some books and information. For yourself or for children. Definitely like the summer programs that they've got going on. Not a huge change from normal throughout the year programs though.
Disregard my previous review. Turns out I made a mistake personally. It was not the library's fault. It was mine! THAT SAID, I do stand by my warning to make sure you see your books checked in. Although mine was a mistake, it is true that this branch has a tendency to re-shelf books without checking them in. Do not use the book drop - be sure to watch a librarian check them in. Also, this branch has a tendency to be overrun by kids when school gets out. Apart from its convenience, it's definitely lower on my list of branches to visit. But the staff is nice, and it's clean.
Location is very appealing too relax and study at but Wifi doesn't work and staff has no troubleshooting knowledge in regards towards fixing it because it is in the ceiling which basically means the installation was done by purely incompetence.
Everyone was amazing! My 3yo was so excited to get his first library card and the experience was the best. The sweet lady at the front desk made it exciting for him to sign his card and then when we went into the children's section we got a tour and went on a scavenger hunt. Thank you for making it so fun for my little one!!
Very nice and kind staff. Very well organized. My kids love it.
This library is down the street from Oakleaf town center less than 1 mile. It has 2 private study rooms. 1 large conference room. However the weirdo, white man that wears glasses, and has, a soup bowl hair cut, is a hater, he was very mean to a 7 year old little home-less black boy.
A wonderful library. Awesome staff and selection of books. Also my go to place to study on Mondays and Tuesdays because they are open until 8 pm.
I love this Library my son grew up coming to this Library and I'm very grateful to the people who have worked there and who have helped my son develop into a well educated young man. For years they had great classes and support and I'm grateful that I'm able to be a customer for life. Thank you Argyle Branch Library. They are awesome
Early voting location. Nice library branch. Ample parking. Only problem is trying to turn left when leaving, as there is a lot of traffic and not everyone is a nice driver that will let you out.
