Durr Farms comes to my local farmer's market. Today, we went to the market with our friends. We both have daughters around two years. My friend's daughter saw water in an empty flower pot on the ground and dipped her hand in it she's 20 months old remember. The lady in charge of the stand for Durr Farms saw this and yelled at her to stop. The poor baby was so scared she cried for 10 minutes. We tried distracting her with other things but nothing worked since she was shaken up. If you have a problem with something a baby is doing, you politely explain your issue with the parent. Never raise your voice to someone else's baby. Baby! Not a 6 year old kid who understands and can speak with you. A baby. Shame on this woman.
I called to get some information about coming in and buying flowers. A very rude man answered, and after a few questions on my end, trying to understand what types of flowers he has, he actually said that he doesn't think I should come in. I would recommend to stay away from a place that treats potential customers this way.
The first time I ever went to Jimmy Durrs Farm, I was treated with respect, and professionalism, Jim stopped what he was doing to get me a bag of corn and a box of peaches, next time I went there, Same treatment, His corn and Vegetables are picked fresh daily, he has the freshest flowers, and really knows how to run a farm ,grow crops, and provide a wide variety of fruits vegetables and flowers,,, Sometimes when things aren't going as planned EVERYBODY gets a little Testy, Jimmys no different,, I know Jim Durr to be One of the Most Generous , Honest, Accomplished Farmers in the area...
