Love Penny's good quality on clothing. Great sale prices. Emma was my cashier over in men's dept, she was so friendly and helpful.
Bought a pair of leggings online and didn't fit. Thought "no problem, we will go in and exchange for a different size". They had us return them and ordered the appropriate size. The issue? They charged us an additional $11 because we used a coupon originally. So instead of doing an even exchange, we pretty much had to buy a new pair of leggings. Poor customer service almost every time we have gone in.
Loved shopping here, got my daughter's wedding shoes here and both granddaughters/flower girls, their shoes here as well. Excellent quality and great prices....was pleasantly surprised.
Didn't have a similar formal dress for a small child 8yr old for dads and daughters dance in a week. Sure plenty if she was a teen going to prom, but not Littles. Only store with a few choices but none in purple
I would have give a one-star but, there was a couple nice happenstances. But when I went to cash out the cashier strong-armed me to apply for a JCPenney creditcard to save money on my purchase I told her no thank you, I do not want to put a hit on my credit As she proceeded to check out my items, she asked me again. I told her NO thank you. I finally had to explain to her I don't want a ding on my credit then she asked me again I am not a student fresh starting college if you know what I mean Nothing more carry on, I probably won't be coming back
Condescending staff: the counter person suggested I turn up my brightness on phone so she could see coupon better than as I did it said: if you had an APP it wouldn’t hold up the line. I felt like saying; if someone had taught you manners you wouldn’t have turned out to be a b……
If you are 6ft 3 and all upper body it is a great ace to get shirts in the big and tall,plus good deals on name brand shoes.
I had the most wonderful shopping experience here recently. I found dresses for a few professional purposes and an upcoming vacation. Good selection and the sales were great.
I miss JC Penney in the Skagit Valley. I can always find something to buy. I always like browsing through the store.
Clerks in the shoe department did the best they could with no staffing. Found a pair of shoes that were on clearance with no box to go with them. The check out clerk would not ring them up without a box. Went back to shoe department to look for a box. Finally asked a shoe clerk to help me…this person proceeds to tell me how to go into your computer system and retrieve the shoes on line and down load them onto your system and use that to put on the register. I went back to the checkout and this person said they couldn’t or wouldn’t do that! I took the shoes back to the shoe department put them back on the rack. The clerk skipped over my purchase to help another customer who was surprised by not helping me first I had two other pair of shoes to purchase for both of my high school age and older granddaughters. I literally had to tell the checkout clerk to charge my VISA card after she would not look up my JCPenny card. if it wasn’t for my promise to my granddaughters to purchase the shoes, I would have just left and not bought anything! I don’t understand why this happened and the way it happened! Essentially no assistance at all!
