Beautiful, historic location and venue that certainly won't satisfy the avid learner of history in wonderful palatable way. The service was prompt and attentive but the prices were a little high. The counter-point is that the food was carefully created and delicious! The ambiance is peaceful and pleasantly situated despite the highway nearby. Overall recommended.
Wonderful dining experience. Love the historical context of this restaurant. Wait staff is the best. The only thing that I didn’t like was the fries were cold when served, but that was corrected immediately. Recommend greatly.Service: 5/5
We came for dinner 2 times now. The food is decent, and the atmosphere is cool. Service is always really friendly. There are seating options upstairs, downstairs, and outside. My favorite part about coming here though is the gift shop. I always buy handmade glass items. The first time I got a beautiful cross nightlight. Today, I bought a beautiful glass trinket box. They have a bunch of handmade items including local goods, ceramics, spa items, and candles.
It's a tiny bit out of the way, but it's worth the small jaunt off the beaten path. It's cute, it's quiet, it has a wonderful ambiance. The employees were well trained, efficient and friendly. I tried the Bruschetta Linguine With Chicken, my husband ordered the Tavern Crab Cakes and we ordered the potato crisps as an appetizer. The chicken was amazing, with the exception that the chef went heavy on the balsamic glaze. The linguine was cooked to perfection and the Bruschetta was fresh and delicious. My husband loved his crab cakes, they were large and broiled just right. The potato crisps appetizer was hot and delicious. I don't know where they get their BBQ sauce, but I wish I did! It is on the pricey side, but it's worth it!
Excellent food and great vibe. I highly recommend stopping by. Weekends are very busy. My gf and I ordered the Crab & Corn Chowder to start and I was blown away. It was incredible!!! I jokingly asked our waitress if I could get a gallon to go. We also ordered the crab dip and it very yummy. We then ordered one of the monthly specials... the Pork Loin with a Black & Blue Berry Sauce. It was delicious! Everything was out of this world delicious. We only ate half of everything and took some home with us. The portions are huge. Our waitress was awesome. She was very friendly and had a great sense of humorI wish I could remember her nameThe Manager stopped by our table to check on us and told us a little history on the restaurant and the rooms up stairs that you can rent. It was definitely worth our trip to Jean Bonet. We will definitely go back.

Absolutely the most amazing stay! The service was unparalleled, the food was exquisite, the atmosphere was perfect. I wish I had booked the entire weekend instead of one night! We definitely will be back and tell all of our friends!!Rooms: 5/5
This is an amazing place to dine. The restaurant is set in a historic 1760's English style pub. You can see the care that was taken to preserve the building's history. The food was amazing, the service was great and the prices were fair!Service: 5/5
The lobster ravioli is my all time favorite dish from here. The service is always a pleasant experience. I especially enjoy the outdoor seating while the weather is nice! Happy I live so close that I can enjoy it whenever I wantFood: 5/5
