Shockingly good burgers, cooked perfectly to order. Good beer list, including a lot of locals and a steady stream of Guinness. The vibe is friendly and casual, would definitely recommend.
Jocos is a great Moody st dive bar with good food. It’s somewhat small so seating for a large group can be hard. The staff is super friendly and the beers are cold. My friend and I got burgers which were very good, however my other friend got the tacos and they were lacking in seasoning and flavor. Great bar spot though, sometimes they have live bands and on Mondays it’s 25 cent wings and half off appetizers so that’s awesome. Overall, it’s one of Moody st’s more fun bars and I like it.
Jaco's is the best dive bar on Moody Street and in Waltham. It's open super late service is always great and it's nice and cozy.Service: 5/5
One of my favorite bars in Waltham. Over my stay I've had the Chili, Steak Tips, Quesadillas, Wings and the Hot Dogs. I didn't go wrong any time. The beer selection is great with a couple Maryland beers sprinkled in which won me over. It also helps that the owner of this place is super cool.
What a cute hole in the wall! We came with a group and they went the extra step and asked everybody their name, did separate bills for the group, and the food was delish! We really appreciated you and everybody LOVED their food!
I ordered a BBQ Burger through Uber eats from here. When it was delivered, I picked up the burger and it felt "flimsy", and after I took two bites, I saw it was red on the inside. At that point I "opened" the burger and realized it was COMPLETELY RAW. On the website, it did not ask how I wanted the burger cooked, but I didn't think I had to specify that I wanted it edible and safe to eat. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A SAFE, FULLY COOKED MEAL.
Ordered pickup. The Burger, and hotdog were great and tasted fresh, however the "hand cut fries" were not hand cut. Just unsalted restaurant Depot fries.
Such a lively place! Lively crowd and great music! The bartenders are cheerful and their hot wings are really hot Great place to spend a Friday night!
Jocos was great! I had a mojito and chicken tacos both of which were awesome. The mojito was strong and yet had a good balance of flavor and the chicken tacos went really well with the guacamole and sour cream I had with them. The atmosphere was upbeat and lively which was perfect for my friends and my outing we were having. I will definitely be back to Jocos again!
