The Imperial Tavern

It was pretty busy for a Wednesday night so I sat at the bar. Service was super quick and the bar tender who served me was really nice. I can't complain at all about the food; the clam chowder and Bleu burger I got was delicious!! Kid-friendliness: Not super kid friendly

Restaurant is attached to hotel. Service was good and the food wasn't bad. I had the fish and chips. My only issue with it was the fish Cod was somewhat bland, they may have forgotten the seasoning. My fellow travelers enjoyed their dishes including one who had the fish and chips so mine may have been a fluke.Food: 4/5

This place wasn't anything to write home about. I dined in on a regular Sunday night and the place was mostly empty with just a few patrons. I was greeted within a minute at the bar. Food: The Korean brussels sprouts were delicious and sweet, drenched in bbq sauce and garnished with some scallions. Not amazing, but it's definitely an easy way to get someone to eat vegetables when they don't want to, maybe. :D The cheese pizza was subpar. It was a floppy bar-style pizza shaped like an oval. The cheese was decent but the pizza sauce was not good. It reminded me of Ragu pasta sauce or some cheap canned tomato sauce, which didn't taste right on this pizza and it ruined it for me. Service: It was maybe just one person too understaffed on a Sunday night, but the bartender was nice about it. Parking: There was plenty of parking since it is connected to the Best Western hotel.

My son was married last weekend and as parents of the groom, we were hosting the rehearsal dinner. From the first time I spoke to David about it 6 months ago, to planning the menu, to the actual night of the dinner, everything was spot on! We hosted 42 people, coming from around the country and also from England. David and his amazing staff went above and beyond the entire evening. The tables were beautifully set. We had a wonderful cocktail hour getting to know each other before sitting down for dinner, the staff made sure everyone had drinks and were taken care of. Dinner was delicious! Everyone raved about their meals, my salmon was great, the short ribs melted in your mouth, and it was great to have a hearty vegetarian option as well. Guests were still raving about what a great time they had the night before, while at the wedding. I heard that it was "brilliant!" quite a few times. Thank you David for helping us kick off an incredible wedding weekend!

A wonderful establishment! Three of us had dinner, and drinks. All around excellent service! There was a small issue with one of the meals. The manager came to us and more than made up for it. We had a very nice time here. We will definitely be back!Food: 4/5

Warm greeting and service staff very attentive without boing to close. Food outstanding, hot, fast we’ll presented and creative! kudos to the culinary team. We just visited Salem and wanted a bite to eat, and I saw this place on my map and said, "Let's try it! I had a delicious hamburger with truffles it was absolutely one of the best hamburgers that I have had in a long time. Bob, our waiter was really great . Parking: Plenty of parking

I recently dined at Tavern and was blown away by the service, especially from bartender Henry. His cocktail expertise and attentive nature made my experience truly exceptional. Henry’s warm welcome and attention to detail were standout. I’ll definitely be back for more of Henry’s fantastic service! -Kudos to Henry and the Tavern team!
