Yesterday was my first experience at Joe Jo's Family Restaurant on 21 Mile & Garfield Love the atmosphere and the people. Angie was the best hostess ever, she is friendly, she makes you feel welcome... my first impression of Angie is she is a genuine Sweetheart Customer Service is great, which is very important. The menu is awesome, so many choices to choose from... let's not forget my fish, fries & salad was really good and cooked just right. Let's not forget Tina, she's another sweetheart that works at Joe Jo's. See you guys soon
Ok, I have to put my two cents in about Joe Jo's Restaurant in Macomb township on the corner of 21 Mile Rd and Garfield. Some friends and I finally went on Fri, 5/25 and, oh boy, we were not disappointed. Great food, fabulous prices, and the friendliest, welcoming staff I have had the pleasure of meeting in a very long time. From 7am to 11am they have some breakfast specials that can't be beat. Lunch and dinner options are varied and vast. Huge menu. Their fries are off the charts. Side salads impressive. Walleye fish specials, again, can't be beat One friend had their liver and onions and she said it was great. Highly recommend this restaurant jewel. Give them a try if you haven't already. You won't be disappointed.
Fantastic restaurant offering extraordinarily great food at reasonable prices ... a real chef in that kitchen!! Walleye is best in town... uhm... along with everything else. We are long time customers and I suspect most are since this is the type of restaurant you are happy you heard about, and return to often. Homemade soups are excellent too and I am particularly fond of the clam chowder! Service great... pleasant dining experience.
First timer to Joe Jo's. Headed here with my son and mom grandma for lunch. Immediately the owner greets us with a big smile and warm invite. Food is amazing, clean atmosphere, and overall good vibes. Come check this out if you haven't already!Food: 5/5
This was a cute little family dining place in a plaza. The service was fast and the food came out pretty quick! There was a short wait but it wasn't too bad. I enjoyed the breakfast quesadilla but just wish it came with a side for the price. They also had a variety of French toast, pancakes and omelettes! I always appreciate restaurants who constantly refill water and coffee without having to ask.
Hidden gem that you'll find in an unassuming plaza on Garfield and 21. Don't be deceived by the outside, this restaurant is great. The prices are out of this world and seem like they are from 5 years ago. The food is delicious, homemade and they give you plenty of it. They're well known for their homemade chicken pot pie, but we stopped for breakfast. They have daily specials from 8:00 to 11:00. I had two plates of food for $8. I highly recommend you make a point of stopping by and see what I'm raving about. You'll be glad you did.
Found this restaurant from a general search in Google for places to eat breakfast. Very happy of our choice. The customer service was above outstanding, the food came out quick and tasted amazing, and they were big portions as well. Definitely will be coming back.Food: 5/5
Typical little hole in the wall diner. Food seems like it all comes from Gordon food service... Frozen chicken fingers.. never done their fish fry and that might be the main draw to that place. Very friendly staff. Prices are typical for hole in the wall diners. Although I remember getting a cup of coffee and a breakfast plate from places like this under five bucks... Guess those times are over.
1st time here. Staff was super friendly and efficient. I ordered a country omlette, which came to the table quickly. Very good omlette, generous portion and tasted great. Definitely going back to try other items. The staff alone makes it worth stopping in.Food: 5/5
Let me start by saying there are new owners here since February of 2021. 1st time coming to Joe Jo's this past Sunday and we were greeted fast and friendly and was seated. We went in for breakfast and the coffee was poured literally as soon as we sat down, and the refills came around everytime my cup was low. My wife and I both went with skillets and they were fantastic. My wife had a country skillet and I had the Joe Jo's skillet with my eggs over easy. It was perfect, as soon as I dug into the skillet the egg opened up and my meal was absolutely what I have been looking for. This skillet was the best one I have had in a long time. Better than any local dinners I have been too. I will most definitely come back and try something new. The menu has a wide variety of food so everyone has a pretty decent choice to choose from. The owner swung by our table to say high and had a very nice conversation with them. All around had a great experience, breakfast was on point!
