I have been a patient of this office for many, many years and can't say enough good things about them. I always see Jaimie Taylor, PA and she is so caring and listens to my needs. I tested positive for COVID last week and was not doing well, called the office and they set up a video chat with me that day, Shayla, the other PA called and ordered an infusion from American Infusion to come to the house and give me the infusion for antibodies. I highly recommend this practice.
I recently just switched to this office from another PCP where i live about an hour and a half away. Yes, i travel and hour and a half for my PCP now, and while I know that sounds absolutely insane, i did because i was already seeing a lot of specialists within the Hopkins network. Today, when i went in for my routine physical, I knew it was the best decision i made. i see Dr. Clyne. We were discussion a lot of my medical conditions, and we were talking about putting me on a medication. I asked him how they a interfere with something specific that i don't want to post about publicly, but he was unsure, and that is okay - it wasn't he area of expertise. And what truly impressed me, is that he made time in his schedule to do research on that medication and my condition, so he could be better informed himself, and get back to me and help other patients in the future. I have never met another doctor be that honest and openly make time in their schedule to do research. Dr. Clyne has also been the only PCP ive ever seen to spend 30-45 minutes speaking with me face to face, not including the fact that he went over my history before hand and what up to date on my medical info before even walking into the room. I would recommend him to anyone
The doctor refused to see my daughter for asthmatic/allergy symptoms in the office because one of her symptoms included a cough. They offered to make it a televisit but would be unable to evaluate her breathing during that time and prescribe the necessary treatments. Had to take her to urgent care instead to be properly treated
If I could leave 0 stars I would. If you like "medical gaslighting" and being left to educate yourself on your illness and not being able to have an intelectual conversation with your physician regarding information you have read then this is the place!! When attempting to discuss a valid and currently researched, concern of MRNA vaccine and someone who has or has had a virus that uses MRNA to replicate and the possible deadly interactions I was informed by the Office Manager, Janet Coleman, that nurses and doctors are so busy and underappreciated they don't have enough time to read medical publications or current research studies. It is called a "medical practice" where you practice medical treatments so how can you evolve if you DON'T educate yourself for your patients sake let alone treat them with any respect for educating themselves and trying to work together. Then you have a physician, James Clyne, who refused to refill, a currently prescribed heart medication on a temporary prescription until the patient could be seen. A medication carrying a FDA label to not immediately stop medication. Hopefully the MD Board of Physicians will ensure neither person can work in health care again. Stay safe out there!!
I've come here to the Edgewater location twice to see Dr. Clyne. On my first visit, I was called back to get height & weight done, then settled in to wait for Dr. Clyne. He didn't show up for 45 mins and called it a scheduling error, no biggie. But on my second visit I had needed to reschedule once, and got stuck in traffic on my way in. Dr Clyne was visibly angry at me, slammed the door behind him, started criticizing me for having to reschedule, and announced that he was PUTTING A TIMER ON HIS PHONE to emphasize exactly how many minutes and seconds I had left to see him. Didn't even bother asking WHY I was late. I don't know how overworked they are, and I can forgive a bit of rudeness, but never have I had a grown man openly berate me for not being the perfect patient. Every person I've mentioned it to has been horrified by how unprofessional he was. Won't be seeing him again; might not come back here at all.
I would give this place and doctor 0 stars if I could. ZERO bedside manner and care for patients. My 85 year old grandmother was told after many visits that her rapid weight loss 60 lbs in less than a year, falling, slurred speech, and edema, etc., were a sign of normal aging. After leaving that practice and seeing competent doctors, it turns out it's a progressive form of Parkinson's. This practice and Dr. Sharma should be ashamed of the way they treated her often saying, "Why are you back? We told you what was wrong." Now my grandmother was given 3-6 months as her prognosis because they didn't catch it in time. Absolutely disgusting!!! Avoid this place like your life depends on it...because it just may.
Was there for a vaccine. Got my appointment for 8 AM the day before a Thanksgiving day. The front desks are friendly. The medical assistant who administered my vaccine was efficient and caring. The only downside of this location is the waiting room area being too small. Otherwise, the clinic rooms are sufficiently spaced and reasonably clean. Check in and check out had no issues.
Everyone here is always so kind, helpful, and happy. Dr. Sabita Sharma is so amazing. She makes me feel like she genuinely cares and has made efforts to get all my medical needs met. She does a great job and understanding and relating to her patients. I’m thankful for such a dedicated medical team.
I have been going to this office for more than 10 years. My twins have been going since they were born now age 10. I LOVE them - from the front desk staff, to the nurses, doctors, and especially Jaime Taylor. When one of my sons experienced a serious medical issue, Jamie made herself available 24/7 to answer questions and deal with my anxieties. The BEST.
The majority of my experiences here have been excellent. One of the big perks for me is this place is really close to where I live, and it has a lab. No more driving down side streets in some weird neighborhood looking in the basement of some building to go get bloodwork done. The receptionists are friendly and helpful and there is never a long wait if you're there on time. I have doctor Hiller and she has been very friendly and helpful through the 3 years I've been going here. When discussing medication she takes into consideration what your insurance will pay for and will share suggestions of the places to buy medication affordably. I have seen some reviews complain about price so I wanted to address that. Price here is the same as everywhere else. It will fluctuate based on your insurance and the staff can in no way control it so it seems unfair to reflect that complaint on them. Overall my experiences here definitely deserve 5 stars.
