Dr. G. W. (Bill) Rauton, III, born in 1950, is a 1971 graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences and a 1975 graduate of the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Rauton worked in Thomson, GA before opening Johnston Animal Hospital in 1977. Dr. Rauton has devoted his life to helping people and their pets while remaining up to date on the latest medical information and literature.
Dr. G. W. (George) Rauton, IV, born in 1983, is a 2005 graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences with a concentration in pre-veterinary medicine. Dr. George then attended the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine where he graduated in May of 2011. Dr. George has grown up in and around veterinary medicine and like his father, has devoted his life to veterinary medicine as well as his patients.
The doctors and staff were all born and raised in the Johnston area and are truly dedicated to their chosen professions. There is a combined 101 years of experience in the veterinary field at Johnston Animal Hospital
