I ABSOLUTELY LOVED my experience here, Leah was my funeral director and she was one of the most caring and loving people that I talked to when looking for a place to have my sons services. This was the first time I've had to look for a funeral home and let me just tell you I was a complete MESS when I first spoke with Leah and she reassured me that everything would be ok and that she would work with me every step of the way. She just made me feel comfortable and it helped me relax just knowing she was there and cared to help in our time of need. We couldn't be more happy with our experience, the day of the services she was VERY helpful guiding us every step of the way, even the people who assisted her were so patient, understanding and also VERY helpful and I THANK each and everyone of them. I hope to keep in touch with Leah not only as a customer but as a friend, I will always remember how kind hearted she and the others were the day we met. She didn't sound like some places where all they wanted to do is have you spend a lot of money to buy the most expensive things or have hidden costs. Leah was very honest and up front about everything to my husband and I, which is why we recommend Kansas City Funeral Directors. They were the least expensive out of all the places we called or visited looking for a funeral home to have services. As long as they are in business we will NEVER use another funeral home and this is why we give them 5 STARS. Thank you again KC Funeral Directors.
DO NOT COME HERE If you are thinking about hosting your funeral here this is your sign not to !! Please save your money and use elsewhere, where you will receive much better service and respect from the staff than here. I can assure you that! Horrible experience . Trying to host a funeral here did not only make us feel uncomfortable but only added to the pain because of an insensitive employee we unfortunately got, making the experience of heartache and loss even worse. While having a funeral , you are already dealing with pain, sadness and grief. Nobody wants to add conflict to that experience as it is already hard as it is. Leah was the “employee” for our funeral that night unfortunately. Not only did she have an attitude the whole time , she did not have any respect for us mourning in pain. She seemed to not have any sensitivity to the situation and when speaking to any of us members mourning she would yell across the room to speak to us, almost as if she didn’t like us . Had a bad temper when anyone spoke to her. When she was asked to please lower her voice and have respect for the loss of loved one ; she snapped and called us nasty and not even considering the grief we were going through. She was mad bc she could not find a little frame and would not let us continue our ceremony and leave until she found it . Not only that, but after the fact , she ended up changing the date to an even later date where our lost loved one was supposed to be flown out to his home. Super disappointed . Very insensitive to the mother whole lost her beautiful boy yelling across the room to her. We are the ones grieving . We are the ones mourning . Nobody should have to endure this kind of conflict from a nasty employee . If anything WE are the customers and should be treated with respect just as you would any other business. Especially if WE are the reason keeping them in their sad business. We should be the ones being comforted in the midst of our pain. Not the employee. And we did not get that. If we could go back in time we would definitely have gone with another funeral home to get the best service & funeral our loved one deserves. But we cannot go back in time can we ? That is why the only thing I can do is advise anyone not to choose here and are better off choosing else where . The service given here is not worth a penny. Much Less thousands of dollars. And for what? A mean lady ? No thanks. LLN

I thought KC Funeral Directors were great, from the moment we contacted them, until sadly the moment we needed their services. They were very responsive, made all of the arrangements very quickly and alerted us to any issues. In addition, every single person with whom we worked, was very nice. Highly recommend.
I asked for specific services from these people with only 2 hours of viewing and transportation to the cemetery for my Mother and they would only sell me the $2905 Full Service Package. These people only care about the Money. They could care less about your loved ones.
