Kate's Poperella all started in 2011. My best friend to this day taught me how to make cake pops. I've never heard of such a thing and of course needed to learn! Any events we would attend together everyone always wanted us to make cake pops! We were continuously making them for banquets and even donating to our cheerleading competitions.
As life went on with high school and cheerleading the busier I seemed to be and less time I had to bake, but still loved making cake pops! This is how Kate's Poperella originated back in 2011, when individuals started asking me for business cards and I knew I needed a fun creative name!
Fast forward to 2013 I graduated high school and attended Cosmetology school in Downingtown, PA. I put my passion aside to focus on my career. I now am a licensed Cosmetologist in the state of Pennsylvania. Not until 2015 did I truly miss and realize what a passion I had, for both the hair and baking industry!
Clients started telling me I need to create a business or at least a Facebook page. I laughed, shook my head and said I don't know, maybe! I really took this to heart one day, created a Facebook page and started advertising myself. Now here I am in 2016 working full time in the salon and devoting all of my extra hours in to baking, making, and designing cake pops, along with other fun treats. I continue to work hard promoting, growing and expanding my business!
Designing cake pop arrangements is my speciality! No two arrangements are ever alike, which is the awesome part! This allows me to express my creativity and share my designs with the world.
October of 2016 I began a whole new journey with my business and my personal life as well. Over 1,500 miles later, I am now living and running my business in Bismarck, North Dakota! I can not wait to share my sweet treat creations with customers all over the wold!
"Life is what you bake it" Have fun and express yourself in life!
