My mother has been a resident here for decades. She is now 94 and in skilled nursing. She started out at Kendal with my now deceased father swimming daily and enjoying living in an external cottage. She made many friends back then and enjoyed many activities. She has received excellent care every step of the way as she has aged. Kendal at Ithaca is an outstanding facility. And by the way, the food is great!
LIFE CHANGING! As a past employee of over 5 years there has never been a more rewarding place to work. The community is amazing, especially the residents who live there. The amenities are spectacular and if you are like me and thrive off of being appreciated for your hardwork and creativity then this is the perfect place to work. When it comes to living there....there is nothing better in upstate New York. You will be amongst the most intellectual, brightest personalities, and fun loving active community with so much to do and always a friend or neighbor to count on. The staff love what they do and the residents love the staff. The mutual respect is out of this world. Kendal's core values: Trust. Care. Respect. It is and always will be like a 2nd home to me. Love it!
Wonderful Continuing Care Retirement Center. Everyone would be lucky if they could live in a place this nice with such wonderful active residents, great food, great staff, and lots of activities.
Home to my Grandmother Who will be 97 next week. I’ve been coming here for 12 years and an impressive community living environment.
My relative is well cared for and the staff is good and consistent.
