We saw the super Mario brothers movie. It was really awesome. The theater was spacious and clean. Everyone working when my son and I visited was friendly and helpful. I'd feel confident sending anyone to Ithaca regal theater. We can't wait for our next movie experience.
We drove all the way to the Ithaca theater to see a movie. While using our regal unlimited app we were told no, this is a Fathom event. I asked her to show me where it shows that. She couldn't find it. We still could not see the movie. That needs to be addressed or let us use the unlimited app.
With movie starting only after 20+ minutes of mostly commercials & 3 short trailers, it has ruined my entire evening schedule. Now I remember why I stopped coming to Regal. That and the $5 spent on a 4oz bag of fruit snacks, selling for $2 @ Dollar store.
This is the only major movie theater in Ithaca, so if you wanna see the latest blockbuster, it's pretty much your only choice. That given said, it's a great theater! The staff is super friendly, everything is always clean, and the popcorn sizes actually make sense ie, if you order a small, you can actually finish it. My only complaint is that I wish they would upgrade the chairs to the newer recliners most big chain theaters have now so us tall folk can stretch out a little more and be comfortable through a 3 hour flick.
Great place yet a bit of a head-scratcher with the pricing model. I am from LA area and the tickets here were on par, if not more expensive depending on which particular region in LA we're referencing. I understand the concept of economies of scale, yet I also understand price scales. It seems the situation is more of the latter than the former which filmgoers have been decrying in the past couple of years. If you're a visitor, you might want to wait or just stream. Sad but true, the film industry isn't producing amazingly innovative content lately, so chances are you won't miss much.
Mall has very little to offer. Movie Theater says they have recliners, but they are simply movie theater seats that slide back a little. Not the nice recliners in most theaters today.
Super empty. Both in terms of businesses and customers. Visited noon on a Saturday in the middle of summer and no one was here. I think I found more space for lease than actual business. Place is an actual ghost down and legitimately gives you a freaky vibe on how empty it really is.
Really nice clean theater and now sell beer and wine. Love going there and wish more good movies would come out.
Always very comfortable in the theater and very helpful staff.
One of the better regal I've been to, but they could take better care of their restrooms with the low foot traffic cinemas are experiencing right now.
