Terrible customer service skills by “Mads” who said to be the “supervisor”. Poorest shoe store experience in my life. Obviously employees need more level of customer service training. Never shopping at footlocker again.
Shoe selection is good. Service was terrible. We were the only customers in the store and the 3 employees acted like we were inconveniencing them when we asked for a size... Really poor experience.
Melissa is the BEST!!! Every time I go in whether it is for my kids or myself she is always so helpful and willing to help find what we are looking for. The best customer service ever!! She has been there for so long and has forever been so GREAT!!
I am still in shock concerning the behavior from an employee I received 3/5/2022. My husband, 8yr old son and I were wanting to ask for a shoe. Before we asked for a particular size we needed a proper measurement he is a growing child. My husband caught the attention of a young boy and asked for a foot measuring. The young boy said “Yea, let me go grab it”. We waited a couple minutes and a light toned girl with medium lengthen dark brown hair approached me. She didn’t say a word when approaching me but rather attempted to hand me the foot measuring tool. I refused to accept it and asked “Oh, I need to measure myself?”. She rolled her eyes and aggressively tossed the measuring tool on the floor in front of our son and said “Well it’s not that difficult to measure”! It felt as if I had to force her to do her job. The girl finally decided to do her job and walked to the tool she tossed on the floor in front of our son. She didn’t give my son any direction therefore I had to ask my son to remove his shoe, push his heel all the way back and stand up. Since she was so rude, while I had to direct my son I stated “ I’m sorry son, since she doesn’t want to give you any direction I’ll help”. She didn’t like that. Then she said with an attitude “It looks like he wears about a size 2”. I said “that can’t be correct because he is wearing a 3.5 currently” and she said “Well that’s what it says” then picks up the tool and walks away. I then said “Wow, your rude aren’t you, who is your manager?” She never answered me but walked up to the black female with box braids at the register and started telling her some BS story. When I confronted the “manager” she acted as tho it was ok to brush it off and make excuses for the little girls behavior. I was so angry that my body was shaking, I ended up walking out without a resolution. Foot Locker will NEVER get our business again!!
They had good prices but terrible customer service. Not one of the staff there working said hi to us or even acknowledged our presence in their store. And if they did, they did a great job at making sure not to notice us. We went to other shops that day and were greeted right away and asked if we needed any help with anything. I even heard one of the employees mock me for being surprised at a price of a shoe they were selling 10 dollar shoes! Of course I'd be shocked!. And when we were ready to try on some shoes, no one still came over to help. The entire situation felt very xenophobic. You'd think that with everything going on with race and this pandemic that people would be just a little nicer, but we're proved wrong again and again. My family and I felt so discriminated in that store walking in and walking out. After this experience I'm making sure that we never buy from them again. Because there are better stores out there with better prices and better selection of shoes, and of course way better customer service. Shopped on July 17, 2020
Very disappointed with the lack of service I received today, this store had 3 young girls working and they were all huddled at the register gossiping, and on their cell phones, not once did they acknowledge us when we walked in. I asked for sizes in a shoe and the girl closest to me still didn’t say one word to me she just grabbed the shoes from the back and rudely handed me them still not saying one word I asked for an additional size and still nothing ! I’m all for giving young kids a chance to work and earn a living but maybe having a superior spend more time teaching customer service as a skill set would contribute more to your business I walked out and didn’t purchase anything because of the rude behavior !
I don't usually write reviews but the manager there, I believe her name was Melissa, was very rude and acted like my business was not important to her. No help at all. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the other two girls there were great and tried to help me with all of my questions. One of them should be in charge of the store.
I wish I could give them a better review but I cant. I went in store and bought a pair of shoes. They were out of stock so the employee ordered them to come to my house. I received a completely different order. Since I placed the order in store I went back in store and the girl was at first understanding. Than told me I was going to get a refund for the shoe that they sent me not the one I actually bought. What like 20 difference. She said she was the supervisor. Really so I give you my money and get nothing no way. So I said no I either want the shoe I PAID FOR IN STORE. OR I WANT MY SHOES. she was on the phone with a help desk who decided to refund me to a gift card since I didnt have the card I originally paid with. Awesome. Than she got rude saying next time dont go to where I went to buy this shoe online. I was like well I came here. She than gave me attitude and was like I have Never see it before. I'm like well I am in the store I bought them from. Check I paid for them right at that counter. Instead of taking responsiblity and apologizing for the inconvenience that close to Christmas. I get it a mistake was made own it and fix it. I got someone else's order. Even got the actual order they were supposed to get. There name there address. Everything. I've made a sound decision to never return to them. The worst. Yeah I get it the wrong shoe was sent but make it right. Dont make me sound like the bad guy because I didnt get what I paid for. Het attitude was unnessacay. I can order my shoes directly from Nike and avoid the them all together. Honestly.
Walked in the store at 7:30 this evening, we were the only family in there, my intention was to purchase two pairs of shoes for my 9 year old and a pair for my 3 year old. We weren’t greeted , weren’t even looked at. We browsed the selection and we’re interested but the staff stared mindlesly into space. We went to journeys kids , we’re helped immediately by a curtious and helpful staff. Maybe they should head over there and take some customer service lessons from the employees at journeys.
Was approached to have my bags checked for no reason. My 12 yr daughter bags were searched through for no reason. We were told we set off a silent alarm on their computer. We did not set off the alarm walking out nor did they check the other person walking out before us that happend to be white. They are only allowed to look inside not touch anything in my bag. Will not be giving my business to them anymore.
