Have some really really nice people. Nursing was really good with him Cami, Sammi, and cna Lakeesha, Lisa, Everyone in respiratory David, Ethel, Kim and Ann Marie. Mike and Kim from wound care were very professional and always had a good attitude always making us laugh. Comfort, Joe and Lapeer always friendly when cleaning room. The a was very humble. Even the security guards always welcoming. Just wonderful nice people also PT and OT Melissa, Santos, Caroline and Kendall.
I was a bit apprehensive about my uncle coming here at first, but they did such an amazing job caring for him. The nurses were very caring and attentive to him and family. Louisa was very nice and so was Lyda. Thank you again.
i loved the way they took care of my aunt, everyone was very nice and they managed to wean off vent. now my aunt is able to breath better and eat on her own. thank you to the respiratory team and physical therapist and ofcourse nursing.
My nurses were good Truly and respiratory was good. The food was pretty good. Physical helped me to walk slowly especially Kendle and Santos. Very good team.
The care the my loved one has received throughout their stay has been exceptional. They truly are a team when it comes to ensuring that patients and families are cared for, medically and emotionally. The level of care begins at the front door with Joe in security, who greets each visitor with a smile and a genuine “How are you doing today?”. Then there’s Lapri in housekeeping, who ensures that the space is clean and will go beyond her duties to get a medical professional to help when you need them. There’s Marie in Nursing Services who advocates for and ensures all patients needs are being addressed, even if those patients are not on her caseload. Also Luisa of nursing services , my families angel, who takes her time in explaining everything and answering any questions we may have. There are so many I could name and each with a different example, Mike in Wound Care, Carmen in Patient Services, Dr. Murray, everyone in Respiratory Therapy, etc. If you are in search of a place where your loved one will receive the best care in their most vulnerable state, then Kindred Hospital of Philadelphia is who you should trust for that care.
I am so pleased to be asked to write a review.I am so blessed to have such caring caregivers taking care of my sister and other patients here at Kindred Hospital. The best I've seen in a long time. The staff seems to take care of their patients as if they were family. I have to say that Kindred Hospital staff should be listed as number One!!! One of the nurses who has been exceptional is Ms Stacey Pena and also one of the nurses aides Mrs Pat Scott.Actually they all should receive praise and blessings. The facility is SO CLEAN!!! Even the Security Staff is pleasant. Your Patient Relation Representative is without a doubt simply nonpareil. She met me,and immediately gave me both a high comfort level and a sense of calm. Her name is Mrs Carmen Colom.
I was in Kindred Hospital , located in Philadelphia. I’m shocked by some of these negative reviews. Over the last three years I’ve spent time in five different facilities. Kindred by far was the best place I’ve been. The entire experience was amazing. Although my issue was not as complicated as others at the facility, I did have a front row seat to watch a roommate get the most amazing care for someone unable to do anything for themselves. Let me take a moment to recognize some individuals that I had great experiences with, not to take away from the entire staff. I had the pleasure of having Michael, the chief clinical nurse at the facility for a Morning. To have someone at that level jump in and help out was fantastic. Watching him do his thing, it makes you feel comfortable that the rest of the staff knows their stuff. Standouts for my experience with nurses, Louisa, Maria, Siani, Angi and Michelle took wonderful care of me. When in other facilities the drop off is usually in the CNA‘s, not at this place. Keysha, Nammie, Marie, Sheryl and Danny were all Fantastic! Danny even gave me a little note of encouragement for my healing process, when I left. Wound care department, big shout out to Mike and Lauren. You guys kept it fun. Samantha my case manager, ran around doing anything she could for my special situation. I did some work with the PT/OT department. Caroline was awesome. I didn’t need respiratory very much, but Shirley always came in and checked my oxygen levels. Very nice! Not everyone’s experience is the same with these types of facilities, but I would recommend anyone to go to this facility. The staff was amazing, the place was always being cleaned and the foods not so bad.
A very important person of mine was transferred over to you guys from temple they took their time with her the way they cared for her was amazing they really treat you like one of their own. Carmen colone was a big help and a big part of her recovery. Thank you so much!
Not sure how the are now but the nurses that were there 4yrs ago did not do their job. My mom dialysis kept being cut due to them saying she kept clotting which never happened before she got there, and she had bedsores. There was lack of communication when it came to her treatment. Nursing staff was unprofessional and license needs to be questioned. If I could give them a half of star I would
I have received nothing but the best treatment and attention I needed here at Kindred. The nurse supervisor, manager and nurses Are to be commended on their work ethics. Joe and santos from the Physical Therapy team are outstanding. They care about their work and I felt they truly cared to help me walk. All in all I felt I was treated with true dignity while here at Kindred. There are too many names to mention but all folks from wound care, social work, nutrition, dietary, PT/OT and nursing are all great in my eyes.
