This place is a breath of fresh air. It's just what you were hunting if you want to see old Florida it's right on the water with a dock for a boat and live music drifting across from the restaurants on the other side each room is decorated differently and there is a great grassy area in the center with barbecue pits picnic tables and shelter. It's a lovely place they're swimming pool is water out of the Bay instead of chlorinated filtered water.
Simple clean rooms and an amazing location. This is such a good place if you're not looking for something fancy and just want a great clean room, at a great price, in an amazing location. We stayed for two nights and it was great. I would happily stay much longer at this establishment. Right on the water with friendly staff and beautiful grounds in the middle of Crystal River. A fantastic experience all around. Rooms: Simple and clean. Walkability: You can walk to just about everything in Crystal River from Kings Bay Lodge. Noteworthy details: Awesome natural swimming pool. Right on the Bay with boat docks if you bring a boat. Close to everything.
We stayed at Kings Bay Lodge for Spring Break and it was fantastic! Our whole family loved our room so much. It was definitely not warm out, but you bet our kids were in one of the neatest pools they had ever seen. I had definitely never seen a natural pool and had no idea what to expect. It was awesome! We also loved the location because we were close enough to walk downtown and shop, and also close enough to walk to dinner. There was even a cute little ice cream shop. Next time we come we’ll definitely bring kayaks because it’s a perfect set up for it. We had the most amazing stay and loved every second of it! Will definitely be back!
This was a great location! It's located right on the water with access to boat slips if you have a boat. We had a full, well equipped kitchenette. The price was good as compared to others in the area. They called the day of arrival to confirm and we stated we were on our way there. They told us our room number and left the key and receipt in the room so we didn't need to waste time checking into the office. Service and location was 5 stars, the room was a 4.5 as it needed a little maintenance but it was clean and overall not too bad! We definitely will stay here again if we come back to town.
Loved staying here! We stayed in room 16 and it was absolutely perfect! We brought our 19 ft flats boat and docked it at one of the floating docks for the week without any issues. Staff were super nice and everything was very clean. Can't wait to go back!Rooms: 5/5
We've been staying at least the last 6 years because we love it. This year, we had more Manatees than ever before come right up to the piers for a visit. Room was clean and well cared for. The staff are always helpful and accommodating. Already booked next year's trip.Rooms: 5/5

My husband and I loved our stay!! So much so that we made another reservation before we left. Our room was clean, bed Linens were clean. Plenty of towels and wash cloths, toilet paper and a starter of shampoo, conditioner and bath soap although I always take our own. The bed was comfortable and we had every thing we needed. The staff was friendly and easy to approach and talk with. We loved sitting on the floating dock watching the wildlife. The water was so clear we could see bottom with all it’s beautiful grasses. We could see numerous fish swimming around and were treated to watching a momma manatee nursing her little calf, all while relaxing on the dock. There was a small gator that would come up onto the dock or lawn to sun. He was more afraid of us than we him and would scurry away when someone got too close so we gave him a wide berth as we enjoyed his company. The spring pool was pretty awesome. We swam around the dock as well as the spring pool. My hubby and I loved it so much, we will be back. We drove out to the coast and enjoyed the beach out there. A must do: eat at The Crab Plant and The Biscuit Barn! We loved the area and will return soon with our kids and grandkids. We want to do a “family vacation” there. We fell in love with Crystal River and Kings Bay Lodge is the best. Buddy and Lanette, Jacksonville Fl Nearby activities: Plenty to do with in walking distance or short drive. Noteworthy details: I love the public parking areas through out the town. Not a lot of “don’t do this or don’t do that” signs. Very welcoming and accommodating to the town’s patrons.
My husband and I had a relaxing peaceful time at King's Bay Lodge. Spacious and comfortable accommodations. The full kitchen, separate space for bathroom and closet, convenient front and back door to unit made this rental ideal for us. The Lodge is in an excellent location for easy access to the downtown area and right next door to an outstanding restaurant The Crab Plant. Both Kings Bay Park and Hunter's Springs Park are extremely close. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go, however I would recommend renting a golf cart if you plan on staying longer because the neighborhood is golf cart friendly and there are a couple excellent restaurants Water Front Social and Seafood Seller that you might prefer driving to even though they are both less than a mile away. We will DEFINYELY be back and hopefully able to stay longer!
Very unassuming outside, surprisingly newly updated efficiency units inside. I would 100% recommend this place. Within a few minutes of Three Sisters Springs & good, local restaurants & bars. Full mini kitchen, quality installed tile shower, sitting area, & we're not just in a typical concrete hotel building. It's cute, homey, & very comfortable. Took us a little to figure out the TV remote & they don't have online booking, but they do respond to calls/emails in a timely manner. Didn't see much staff. Keys & paperwork were left in our room at 2pm check in, but communications with staff were friendly, professional, & accommodating when I asked to change from 2 queen beds to a king. Price was less/around the same as other chain hotels in the area, but we have more space & privacy here.
